Came here shortly after noon on a Sunday and was surprised it wasn't busier, given the weather was pretty decent. Really cool spot along the riverfront. Our daughter had just fallen asleep in her wagon and we had been walking a couple miles and craved refreshment. Finding the entrance to the beer garden was a bit trickier than it should have been. The space is great, large outdoor space that is fenced in with plenty of tables, games, porta pottys, and waste bins. Seemed dog friendly since we saw a couple. Definitely a good spot to let the kids stretch their legs in a controlled manner. Beer selection was pretty good and service was quick. We grabbed a couple beers and while they mainly seem focused on hoppy beer they did offer a couple others. My wife really loved her hazy and my IPA was pretty good. Great little stop off to relax along the water.

We had a relaxed beer or three there and enjoyed a delicious pizza. The location is great, relaxed and very cozy to enjoy the last warm hours of autumn. On a Thursday it wasn't very crowded and we found a good spot straight away with 2 people. The atmosphere there is wonderful, especially in the dark in the evening - but we were missing a little music. Everyone was very nice!

Great spot to drink a few beers and watch the sunset in the summer. Mostly younger crowd, it says what you expect. Drinks are served quickly, but pizza takes forever.

Beautiful Sunday to take a stroll in the park then stop by Night Shift Brewery to enjoy some cold draft beers. Service was good, atmosphere was great and beer was also good.
Enjoyed several round before continuing the stroll back.
Great option at the park to enjoy the view, day and some good beer with family and friends. Give it a try to do something different.

This place is a vibe! After jogging and biking past it several times on the Esplanade, finally got the chance to go grab a few pints here.
The beer selection was decent, only 6-8 options on tap. And the place does fill up - I think we were there around 6 on a weeknight and it was slammed, barely found a spot to sit.
Well worth it though for the atmosphere and the quality of the beer. The views of the Charles are awesome and you can’t really beat drinking good beer outside in the Summer in Boston.

July 2024: Nice outdoor environment next to the charles river. The esplanade has a small selection of drinks with all outdoor seating. They offer a menu of food to be delivered to the location, didn’t have a kitchen at the time. It’s an active city and they have a small area to park your bike, which is great! Prime location for bug bites so keep that in mind.
Love Night Shift on a normal night. Unfortunately on the 4th we waited in line for 20 minutes to grab a Nite Lite. Just before the entrance we were cut off and told last fall was at 7:15 - 15 minutes before normal last call. This wasn’t publicized on social media or the website. The staff working the gate walked up to an arbitrary point in the line outside of the ropes to let them in and then cut the rest of the line off. No announcement about last call were made to the line while we were waiting. Disappointing after taking the time to wait without the heads up.

This place was never cheap, but in 2024 it's a complete rip off. They're operating on MA state land, have very little costs, yet beers are $8-12 and (new for 2024) are now only 12 ounces! So much for even getting a 16oz beer for $8. I used to really like Night Shift, but their quest to make even more $ is absurd. I have no idea why the state doesn't make requirements like ensuring 16oz cups and beers be priced $6-8. They'd still make a fortune!
