No Relation is a truly amazing restaurant. Our experience there for the Omakase dinner was nothing short of spectacular. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The service and atmosphere were truly special. It has the feeling of a genuine Omakase experience with its extremely small setting and intimate feel. Overall No Relation is an amazing experience and beats out much of the competition in Boston, especially at its price point.

Best omakase I have been to so far. The fish tasted very fresh and I felt full by the end of the course that we didn't order the special nigiris. I will be recommending this to my friends in the area and to those who are traveling here. The omakase was a great value. Service was good. The icecream at the end was a great way to end the course. The chefs also checked in with us if we needed to order any more nigiris and asked our thoughts as well. Overall I loved it and cant wait to come back again. The sake pairing is a must!

Came here for the Omakase experience. I really enjoyed it - one of the best I’ve been to. Clearly a lot of thought and intention went into curating this dining experience. A small, intimate setting, which I enjoyed; I went alone but had great conversation with the couple next to me. Dishes came out at a great pace and were all delicious. The whole thing was elevated but not too hoity-toity.
By the way, if you’re having trouble locating it, it’s down the stairs and connected to Shore Leave!

One of the best dining experiences of my life. It’s very intimate (only 9 diners when we went), plus the hostess and two chefs in a small room. It was quiet but I’m sure with the right mix, people might talk more. We were celebrating our anniversary and kept to ourselves. If you want a memorable omakase experience go here. It was also the most “affordable” I found in the area but there’s lots of additions and courses you could add.

This is a favorite spot for my fiance and I - we've come here two separate times to celebrate our anniversary/my birthday (about a week apart so we often do one "big" date to celebrate both), and it's been incredible both times. Very friendly and informative chefs and sommelier/hosts, good music/ambiance, and overall just a joy to experience and taste such excellent food. They are also incredibly accommodating - I am not a big fan of uni (sea urchin), and with advance notice they prepared me the same courses as others while omitting the uni from the couple of bits that normally had it. Highly recommend coming here at least once, and budgeting some extra for drinks/pairings as well as supplements or additional rolls - we have added caviar and black truffle to courses in the past, and often get a repeat of one course as well as Wagyu. The bar that No Relation is inside of, Shore Leave, is also excellent and has stellar waitstaff and tasty bites. Our most recent time there, we booked a table at Shore Leave to have a drink and a snack prior to Omakase at No Relation - we loved it!

This was a lovely experience celebrating our anniversary. The food was great and met expectations. The sake pairing elevated the meal and was well curated. The chawanmushi was good and I’m not big on them normally.
The only odd part (I say odd because we’ve done over 3 dozen omakase and never experienced this) was the owner/ manager talking us through the courses. I’ve only ever heard directly from the chefs.
Outside of that it was exactly what you’d expect from an omakase. Can’t remember the particular course but one of them blew us away and opened up every sinus. Must try when in Boston!

We held a private party at No Relations. I cannot overstate how excellent an experience it was from planning to execution. We had some very complicated issues with some people eating sushi, some people wanting to order off the menu of the sister restaurant Shore Leave, we had some of the sushi people with many food allergies . Basically, we could have been viewed as a pain in the neck to deal with, but the entire staff, including the manager Alexy, was wonderful. The food was superb and everyone had a wonderful evening. I cannot offer a greater recommendation to No Relations!

My wife and I came here to celebrate my birthday and we had a truly delightful time at No Relation. Each of the 14-course menu brought a new dimension to our experience with a few standout WOW-level moments. We even ran back a couple of the courses so that we could double dip on our faves. Highly recommend!

Having been to other omakases, this is a place that I would recommend checking out once and then moving on. At this price point (and that’s the key here), there are better options in the Boston area. The creativity of the chefs with how they pair each bite (seasoning, ingredients, etc) just wasn’t there for me. Fish was fresh and the place was clean too, so no issues there.

Excellent experience, ambiance, and food. Every course was unique and well thought out. This was my first Omakase experience in Boston and it felt very special! 14 courses but you can opt to add more at the end - they have a list of specials (steak & eggs was wonderful) you can choose from.
Intimate spot, only 9 seats so definitely plan ahead! This place is a must try for a special occasion.

The food was amazing, subtle flavors with every bite. The restaurant itself is cute, with modern vibes. Walk through Shore Leave to find it. Chef Vincent Cheng and his assistant prepared every “bite” (14 in total) in front of us. At the end of the set menu, we could order more bites (at extra cost) if still hungry. Expensive but sublime.
We had a great time! This was a last minute find and we were lucky enough to snag a reservation on short notice. The experience was perfectly lovely, plus we stumbled upon an unexpected connection with another couple dining next to us, proving how small and fantastic this world can be.
It's was amazing experience for our 1st time omakase in US (we are frm Thailand ) premium grade ingredients worth with the price we paid ? the last bites steak and eggs was soooo good
