I had trouble choosing what to get from here because there were so many great options! It was obvious I was at the right place because there was a line as soon as I found it in the north end market. The lemon square was the perfect balance of sweetness with the icing and the cake was moist.

Located in the heart of Faneuil Hall, North End Bakery has a variety of delicious dessert options. We personally went with the canolis, which were a surprisingly light and tasty afternoon snack. It was a really rich and flavorful treat and I would totally go back for one again soon!

Arancini was freezing in the middle, marinara tasted like a can, the pizza was chewy and not warm or well done. Glad I didn't spring for dessert. I went at 5pm, should be peak rush and fresh food. $20 wasted.

If I could give no stars I would. They don’t know how to make coffee and would not fix it when it was wrong and cold. Unable to communicate in English clearly to take order. Gave us a tiny cortidito vice a macchiato. Rude.

Got the spinach arancini ball and the rice part was flavorless and the filling was bitter. Took a few bites and threw out. FYI has 10$ card minimum

I had ordered the meat arancini and it was absolutely delicious. I went back to buy 2 more. Super friendly staff as well.

Had the most amazing piece of lemon burst cake here. Got it to go.

The worst customer service EVER. The older female staff member taking my order was very rude and condescending. She made a fuss because I wanted my piece of cake in a box. Mind you, the customer in front of me ordered the same thing and they said nothing to her. There was even a guy that just popped up and asked for a box and they gave it to him (he wasn't even a paying customer). I was there with my two younger kids. She made it a terrible experience for me and my kids. Shame on that woman who treated us that way. The woman even called the manager over, so it might not be the first time she's acted like this. Shame on the management for allowing their staff to mistreat their customers. I won't be shopping there anymore. I'm also attaching a photo of my macaroons because the woman even smashed a few of them. I noticed this when I got home. I bought these for my 10 year old daughter who was with me. I will be returning to this establishment to take a photo of this staff member so people can steer clear of her or better yet, steer clear of this spot!

Decided to pick up dessert from here based on a local recommendation. I had the pineapple coconut creme cake and my husband had the salted caramel cream square. Both were delicious. Had to eat at two sittings as the servings were pretty large. So many choices looked amazing, so I'll have to visit again when I'm in town because there were so many things I wanted to try!

This was my first time trying Boston Cream Pie, so I don't have a reference point, but it didn't particularly stand out. It felt more like a cake than a pie, though it was well made. The cream, white cake, and chocolate weren't overly sweet but worked well together in harmony. Although the portion is intended for one, I was satisfied after half, so it's definitely shareable. The only thing is that it's also overpriced ($9.90) for an ordinary dessert and it's not something I would get again.

Holy macaroon. These were by far our favorite snack while in town on our honeymoon. We visited three times in the week so far solely to get their macaroons. We still have two days left. The service was kind and attentive even for a busy week! Highly recommend the cinnamon roll and raspberry macaroons!

We tried the chocolate peanut butter brownie, the golden cheesecake and the peppermint hot chocolate. The chocolate peanut butter brownie was wonderful and was large enough for my husband and I to split. My daughter had the golden cheesecake and I of course had to sample it, it was good but not the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the peppermint hot chocolate since it was a nice cool fall day and the cup was no where near full which was disappointing and overall the prices were high for what you got and I will agree the customer service attitude was lacking. All in all I’d visit again but might not be my top pick!
