Walked here and back from my hotel with takeout. Had basil rice with chicken and pad woon sen. Ordered the 10/5 spice on both, and let me say, they certainly know how to make it hot enough to make you see Death staring back at you from the corner of the room. I had to pay extra for it, and maybe it's not worth it for most people, but it was worth it for me, and the rest of the prices were in-line with what I'm used to in Indianapolis (which has a surprisingly large Thailand population.)Unfortunately, there wasn't really much flavor in my meals. The basil rice was being carried hard by the bell peppers in it, and otherwise was bland and had no basil flavor to it. The pad was definitely more flavorful, but it still felt like it was missing both nuance and punch. I'll have the rest of the pad tomorrow at breakfast, but mostly because I paid for it and because I'm not allergic to it. I fairly regularly make yellow curry at home, alongside various rice and noodle dishes, and I'm sorry to say that I've had incredible meals from my own two hands that this kitchen is missing out on.Maybe Boston doesn't have a big Thai community, I dunno. In Orlando and Indianapolis, there were both big Thai communities and unforgettable restaurants. Here and in San Francisco, where the population is mostly Chinese and Filipino, Thai feels like an afterthought. If I was willing to walk the forty minutes and wait in line for another hour for the nearby Sichuan restaurant, I'm sure I would have had a great time, but I have an itinerary I'm trying to keep.

One of my fav Thai food places. All dishes are delicious. Very laid back atmosphere, perfect for lunch or a quick dinner. I love the Pad Thai, tom yum anything and the satay chicken apps. They crab fried rice has real crab meat. And you gotta get a Thai iced tea with every meal.

Nud Pob is my favorite restaurant in the Allston/Brighton area. Been a regular customer for the past 6 years. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, their service is top class and the ambience is amazing!

I find the American style pad thai to be overly sour-ish with. The Indonesian fried rice comes with an egg but it wasn't fried like it says on the menu.

This place is great. I work at BU and once a month or so I make it here for lunch. It's consistently good and the employees are always friendly. It's casual and perfect for a midday meal. And look up their story online- it's so sweet. Nud Pob means "meeting place" in Thai.

As a BU student Nud Pob was my saving grace after a long day. Now as a BU grad I still frequent this local joint not just for the nostalgia but for the bussin’ food. My go-to is the pad see ew with crispy chicken basil. It’s just amazing. Also the thai iced tea is some of the best I’ve had in the city. Top tier

Have asked for spicy pad thai and only given 1 star a few times. Woman at cashier also taking the phone orders repeated it back as I paid. You could tell she purposely did that. Rude! watch out make sure your orders are right and read the tag before leaving!

The best restaurant I've been to in Boston so far and it's not expensive! As a BU student, nud pob has been a great place to go to have a meal with friends and it's conveniently right in central campus. The workers are all nice and it's not a sit down place, which is good for cutting down costs (though there is seating inside). In terms of dishes, I highly recommend the Indonesian fried rice (the chicken is sooo crispy and yummy), the Tom yum noodle soup (great broth), and pad see you (always satisfying).

BU staple that has extended well into my adult life now. I come with my wife for dinner occasionally. Entrees are usually two servings worth so we have lunch the next day. Family run with nice staff. Quality is great!

Anyone in BU has visited this place at least once. Students, professors, and staffs all come here to enjoy genuine Thai cuisine at a reasonable price. Definitely coming back!

They are extremely careful with allergies! Thai food is yummy even if it's bad this Thai food is good but it's really good to know the Staff Care is so much! They called me before they even started prepping my order for delivery. well done!

Ordered takeout- their pad Thai is very generously portioned, tasty and as a result almost put me in a food coma.
