A waiter with weird glasses came by and poured some salt that fell of is arm, on my steak. Very overpriced.

The service was excellent! The steak we ordered was the wagu steak yet it tasted like a regular steak. I have had wagu before and it melts in your mouth. This did not. I don't think I would go back considering the prices compared to the food.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Probably the best and juiciest medium well prime New York steak I’ve had, and the mushrooms were just too delicious. It’s worth every

My girlfriend and I have been to many high-end restaurants in Boston and love going to new places. We booked Nusr-et for my birthday as an experiment, fully understanding the reviews and that it could be an awful experience. When we arrived we were the only people in the entire restaurant and the staff immediately knew my name, meaning we were likely their only reservation the entire evening. The staff was great and super attentive, but to be expected with two people dining. I ordered the smoked Old Fashion, which came out in a small smoke filled box, a cool party trick. My girlfriend ordered a mocktail which she said was half way decent. We skipped apps, as they were not typical steakhouse appetizers and very meat focused. For entrees I ordered a New York Strip and she ordered the Salmon and split a side of the mac and cheese. They did the whole salt bae thing of cutting and sprinkling the salt, cutting part was nice, salt was awkward and threw salt all over the table. Steak was ok, large for a New York steak tender but not a ton of flavor, very salt heavy. She said the Salmon itself was good but the sauce and spinach on side was awful . Overall all the food just had too much of one ingredient that held it back from being better. Old Fashion too smokey, steak to salty, too much truffle in mac and cheese and too much lemon in Salmon. The ambiance was very strange being the only people there. The decor in the main room was a little strange, the bar looked very nice but the area we sat was a little dated, beat up tables, floors semi dirty, etc. The bill ended up being $190 for no starters, one drink and average menu items for this restaurant, no Wagyu or high end cuts. Not unworldy for a "high-end" steakhouse in Boston but certainly steep for what it is. I feel bad for the staff and hope they are paid hourly and not on tips. They were great and one positive to an empty restaurant was it took less than an hour for a steak dinner.

We went for date night to try a new spot since we have tried most of the steakhouses in Boston as my partner is an avid steak fan. After reading some bad reviews, we didn't go in with great expectations but we're hoping to be surprised. We walked in for a 730 reservation and there was not a single other person in the restaurant. The only other customer that came in throughout the night was to pickup a to go order. When our food came out, my Grilled Faroe Island Salmon was drenched in lemon juice and the spinach tasted like it was pre frozen. The NY Prime NY Striploin Steak was ok, but not worth the price. The one saving grace was the great service, but as the only guests, I would hope! I would recommend trying a more local place if you are looking for better food and better ambiance.

Friday night in Boston and the place was dead. Literally my family and one other couple. Was looking forward to their good, but overpriced rib-eye, only to learn they got rid of it and the only option was $180 rib eye. We apologized, and then went across to Davios where the 3 of us had full meals and drinks for $250. Management needs to realize Boston won't sustain that level of pricing with all the amazing options around and it's not a chic city. My guess is they are waiting for their lease to be up to close it down or just carrying the costs to market their boston location. Staff is very nice there. Honestly, feel bad they are out of touch with the Boston market.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Nusr-Et Steakhouse Boston, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. For a whopping $300, I expected a steak that would transport me to carnivorous heaven, but instead, I found myself in a overcooked nightmare.Firstly, let's talk about the ambiance. The dim lighting and faux-leather seats tried to create an upscale atmosphere, but the overall vibe screamed more "budget motel" than "luxury steakhouse." It felt like a failed attempt at sophistication. Now, onto the main event—the steak. I ordered the chef's special, thinking it would be the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, what arrived at my table can only be described as a charcoal briquette disguised as a steak. The chef must have mistaken my request for medium-rare as a plea for a leather boot sole, because that's exactly what I got.As I struggled to saw through the tough exterior with the provided butter knife, I couldn't help but wonder if I was being pranked. The overcooked, flavorless slab of meat left me longing for the days of backyard barbecues where the grill master actually knew what they were doing. To add insult to injury, the sides were lackluster at best. The mashed potatoes were as bland as the steak was tough, and the vegetable medley seemed to have been cooked hours before and reheated to a sad, soggy state.Service wasn't much of a saving grace either. The staff seemed indifferent to my disappointment, and it took an eternity for anyone to acknowledge my concerns. It was as if they had perfected the art of ignoring customer dissatisfaction. In conclusion, Nusr-Et Steakhouse Boston is an establishment that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. The exorbitant price tag only adds insult to injury when you're served a steak that could double as a hockey puck. Save your money, save your taste buds, and steer clear of this culinary disaster. There are far better steakhouse options out there that won't leave you feeling like you've been scammed.

Tomato Walnut Salad = LOVED - would eat this all day it was so good!Baby Arugula and Avocado salad = pretty good, there were some orange seeds left in which mixed in poorly with the pine nuts and made it hard to pull them out but otherwise loved itBurger = good, fries were greatSaslik = delicious - loved itBaklava = did not like, tasted like a bad donut or something. My wife got a lemon mint mocktail which she loved.Restaurant was totally empty when we were there. It was a Tuesday evening I think so maybe not a prime day but TOTALLY empty which gave a weird vibe. The staff did a great job though and never acted like it was weird - very helpful and never hovering. Great service. Ambiance / space was fun and location is great.

When we walked in it seemed cheaply designed, much different than NY location which give off art gallery vibes. Boston feels like a high end apple bees, the table rocked... place was kind of dead for Friday at 8pm there was just one party that was insanely loud and we were seated next to them even though the place was empty. Other than that the staff were fantastic, they actually noticed the table rocking without us mentioning and tried so shove things under to stop it. Food was alright and we loved the theatrics of making the Food, but the lack of ambience made it feel over priced.

The restaurant was dead on a Saturday night which was a bit spooky. Overall, very low value. The service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive and nice. The pricing? Despicable. The part that really got me was that my party got billed for water… $144 for water. We never asked for fancy water, but we got charged for it. Not to mention, the water wasn’t even listed on the menu. Will I come back? Never. Will somebody else come back? I have no idea why.

Food was pricey but good. The restaurant was EMPTY on a Friday night. It was us and one other table. The service was sub-par considering there were no other patrons. Slow and inattentive. It was an experience, but probably won't be back.

Currently still here waiting... seems to be the theme of the night.1. Once we ordered our food it took just over an hour to receive our entrees.2. The entrees came out 1 at a time, with the speed of a snail3. While waiting the hour for our entrees we were never asked for another drink4. When they delivered the entrees they did not know who ordered what5. After our groups 5th bottle of water we asked for more water, they replied there will be a charge. We then asked how much is water, to which they said 8-9$ per bottle. Keep in mind we were not aware of the water charge, and we're not given an option.6. The bathrooms - in a dire state. The ladies room had 4 stalls, 2 of which were marked "out of order" and 1 was disgusting, pee on the seat and a wad of TP all over the seat7. We brought a cake, and knew it was a $50 cake cut fee (LOL), we asked to present the cake to sing and then cut the slices. They disregarded our instructions and cut the cake before our birthday girl saw it. 8. The only redeeming quality was the bussers were prompt We would not return.
