Way way too loud. For the upscale atmosphere and experience they should have been playing classical music softly in the background. Instead it was the boom boom dance music like you'd get from a wedding reception. Really unexpected from a Fairmont hotel chain. A lot of work and effort laid waste by excess noise.
This is one of our go-to places for Sunday brunch. This time they were particularly slow. Other than that, aside from the very high prices, this place is fairly solid.
After a long day of travel decided to have dinner in our hotel's restaurant. Menu was streamlined yet varied. Service was attentive and professional. Food was delightfully tasty and arrived at the table hot. Having dinner there again this evening. The only less than positive observation was the time from our order being taken to food delivery 45+ minutes.
Really great place with really good food. Before going out to a concert or an experience this was a wonderful location and I would definitely go here again.
Amazing place, beautiful room, fun people watching, but... food was terrible! Ginger ale tasted like antifreeze Clam chowder didn't have any clams, just tasteless cream Bread in the skillet was very salty and cold Beef tartar didn't taste fresh and chips next to it looked amazing, but were terribly salty Burger was good Lamb lollipops were ok Truffle French fries didn't taste like any truffles I'm crazy about dessert, but was scared to order and get disappointed even more
Had such a great dinner with my best friend. We accidentally booked the long bar but it quickly turned around with the experience we had. Beautiful place and the food was delicious. The host Cheryl was extremely lovely and just very charming. Thank you for a lovely night!
One of my favorite places to eat and drink. Food is outstanding and drinks are great. The ambiance is amazing.
Sat in what I would call their lounge. Half couch, half cushy seat. Service was wonderful. Our server was sassy and energetic and encouraged our food selections. We had such a nice time we're considering bringing family in for thanksgiving.
Love the atmosphere at Oak Bar. Host and hostess were great. Food was good. Our waiter seemed very disinterested in attending to us..
Service with a smile. The hostess was warm and inviting. The server, Manuel, was super busy, yet still attentive. The food was delicious.

The food was ok. Service was very friendly. There were a couple of wedding parties so the noise level was high. All in all it would have been fine but we were seated in the side lounge to avoid the noise and the carpet was filthy. There was a huge hair ball beside our table. The carpet was piling and looked worn and dirty.
Busy Friday evening with an event that spilled over into the bar. Service was good given the fact it was rammed. Tasty food. Very noisy.
Brunch was fantastic! I loved the gluten free pancakes. The tea was delightful too. Quiet day there too.
Our waitress was terrific. The food was delicious... I can't say enough great things about the oak room.
Outstanding place, one of the best. Great food, great service and not out of line for the quality you get.
