Server didn't know about wine pairings with the food, and didn't come by after the initial order other than to give the check. Service was mediocre at best. The food was ok, the meat was over cooked. It wasn't a great experience going here.

Oak long bar was wonderful. The hostess was so kind and accommodated a 4th for our party. We had a great table in the corner which was wonderful we could all hear each other. Our server was fabulous too. Food and drinks amazing! Fun night.

This is an amazing room in an amazing hotel. Cheryl made everyone feel like family. The food was wonderful, and my birthday was a beautiful celebration!

I might recommend if you are going for a casual night or a seat at the bar but the value wasn't there for me. I don't recommend going on a special occasion, the food is good but average and the service is lacking.

Lovely staff but very busy with people hovering. Food was delicious (except prawns) but extremely overpriced.

Excellent service from Lucius. Clam chowder was delicious and halibut dinner hit the spot. The warm bread started us off on a very high note.

Wonderful classic decor, terrific burgers, great service and good location in the center of Boston's downtown. Recommend!

One of our favorite stops in Boston....relaxing, super service, good food. Love the addition of the comfortable leather chairs ! We thought the size of the cheeseburgers had gotten much smaller, but cost was the same. So not a super option for a man. Would love to see more hand held options on the menu for lunch and possibly a cesear salad. But overall a lovely spot for a drink and a bite to eat!

We popped in for wine and bread before a comedy show, it was busy and lively. Luckily, we snagged two seats at the bar. This place is worth visiting for the history and charm alone.

The wine was average for the price, but the bread was phenomenal.... warm, fresh, and the highlight of our visit. The service was friendly despite the crowd. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed.

I’d love to return for dinner next time to experience the full menu!

To be honest, we were quite disappointed with the service we received when dining at Oak Long Bar & Kitchen. We were seated at one of the reserved tables for a 9pm reservation (I’ve been to the bar many times but this was my first time at a table). Over the course of an hour, our server came to our table every 5 or so minutes. She pushed us to order more food and also pushed us to close our tab at 9:30, saying that she “clocked out at 10” (the implication was that she wanted to make sure she got her tip). For a 9pm reservation, it felt completely ridiculous to be pushed through our meal from the moment she came to our table. We spoke to management regarding the situation and they took 2 drinks off our total bill (we were a group of 5) but truly left with a bad taste in our mouths. I was beyond excited to finally sit down and have the “full experience” here but I’m not sure I’ll ever return after this.
