But the doorman was unacceptable. My face has rosacea and he thought that meant I was "under the influence of something" and sent me away. I've never had anything to drink or consume in my life, he just didn't like my face. With another doorman, I was able to attend and enjoy this place because it is straight up rock music
Nice local club with friendly staff. Street parking sucks but there's a large lot on the Harvard Ave. block behind the shops. Didn't have anything to eat there so can't rate them on it. Most of the bands were excellent. I would definitely reccomend and return there as they feature noise, industrial, post punk and experimental acts. My kind of place! $15 at the door. Draft beer priced reasonably.
Classic Allston venue especially for local artists. They have hot dogs I think but I'm pretty sure that's all for food, mostly a bar. Barstools for sitting during shows which is nice.
