Overall good experience. The food was delicious. And some dishes were fun such as the flaming salmon. However, we are spoilt living in Bermuda and the sushi itself was not as good as we are used to. But that is not a reflection on this restaurant - as we have set a high bar. The location itself was marked down also. A long corridor style restaurant. Meaning that one side of the table faced the wall. Which made it harder to feel the atmosphere. Take someone you like to look at.
This was our second time dining here and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Japanese Wagyu for an appetizer and the Omakase with wine/sake pairing. The Sashimi was super fresh and the chefs selection for the Omakase was creatively prepared with various flavors and fish. I know some viewers say it's quite expensive which it is, but well worth the price based on the quality of the fish. My favorite dishes were the Wagyu and the Salmon on Fire. If I had any negative comments...
I visited Oishii with a small work group for a holiday celebration and we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—very attentive, made thoughtful recommendations, quick to refill water glasses, etc. and the food was delicious. I specifically enjoyed the Crispy Vegetable Dumplings, and the Shrimp Explosion and Japanese Yam Tempura Speciality Maki. We were far too full for dessert but decided to “just take a look”…and of course had to try a couple. The green...
