My star, my perfect silence.
An excellent little mom and pop shop with delicious food. I’ve been ordering from them through my entire time in university, and they have never failed as a relatively cheap, delicious option!
Minimal seating for dining in.

Got the kimchi fried rice as a takeout and it was not good. The rice was so mushy and overcooked. That could've been ok except the rice had little to no flavor, kinda crazy when you consider how flavorful kimchi is. The only way flavor was added back in was with the topping of raw kimchi and bulgogi. Only reason I gave an extra star is that I got $5 off for the order being over $15 so this was a cheaper meal. Not coming here again.
For less than $15, I got a packed bowl with their pulled pork and tofu (both are great). The portions are so big that I have a second meal! I highly recommend take out as I've tried it atleast 3 times now and Olitoki never dissapoints. Wouldn't recommend dining in since the atmosphere is kind of dark and small. Food 10/10 for quality, taste, value!

The burrito is DELICIOUS!! Love the vegetarian options. Will definitely be coming back
I got the tteokbokki and bulgogi spring rolls, the spring rolls were good and tasted fresh, crispy and hot but nothing extraordinary. The tteokbokki was the worst I've ever had in my life. It was lukewarm, and the rice cakes were hard. I asked for cheese, as that is a common option for tteokbokki. The cheese that was put on top was a shredded cheddar cheese mix, like the kind you get in a bag, and it was completely cold, making the dish even less hot. I tossed it out, the workers were in the back with headphones on and I couldn't be bothered to spend any more time there. I won't be going back, as there are dozens of better korean options in Allston around the corner.

Using obviously prepackaged frozen chicken. I recommend you order from somewhere else that puts more love into the food.

I use to come here for lunch at least once a month, over a period of about 6 months every time I ordered the kimchi fried rice balls they had a taste as if they were using very old oil to fry them, as if I was eating something that had gone bad.
I hope they fix whatever has gone wrong there, I'm now going to stay away for a few months in the hopes that by next time when I go back they have fixed things. But for now I just can't recommend this place.
