I really want to like Pantry Pizza. It is incredibly convenient to my house, and the owners and staff are always nice. That kindness is the only reason I’ve given them so many chances. The ingredients taste like the cheapest options available from the distributor (nothing is homemade I’m convinced), and the assembly feels slapped together with zero pride.
With better competition moving into the neighborhood, Pantry needs to understand that convenience isn't enough anymore. You have to actually try.
Here is the breakdown of our disappointment:
- Cheese Pizza (2/10): It is baffling how a pizza can have absolutely no flavor; the sauce is bland, the cheese bland, and the dough bland!
- Calzone (1/10): I live a five minute walk from the shop, yet this was already a soggy mess by the time I got home.
- The Gobbler Sub & Boneless Wings (6/10): These are the only redeeming items on the menu and only things I recommend.
And my god the tomatoes they use!!! Please stop using these. They are the unripe, flavorless, watery stereotype of bad sub shop vegetable. Just leave out if you can’t get better ones.
I want to support local, but I can't anymore. Please make some improvements.

Online system took my money and the order never got to the store, they said it was just a hold on my card and to reach out to the card company or wait a few days, NO you should make sure your system works for 30 dollar pizzas. They are local and wanted to give them a second chance few months later. Same exact thing happened again with no recourse and same garbage customer service. I was in a rush and grabbed a couple chicken bacon ranch slices for 11.00 DOLLARS! and wow HORRIBLE!! luke warm zero flavor chicken tasted bland and boiled. Will never go back to this place. 0/0

Pizzas were delicious and cooked perfectly per instructions. Sizes are slightly smaller than other pizzerias.

Great pizza, great service!
Ordered a steak and cheese sub and it’s disgusting. This isn’t steak. It’s hamburger and cheese on soggy bread and the cheese was an after thought.
Every time I try to give this place another chance it reminds me why I’d rather order from Uphams House of Pizza and get delivery then walk around the corner and eat this crap.
Just tossed this in the trash barrel.

Their pizza sucks quite a lot but their calzones are amazing. Incredibly how different, really. It's one of those absolutely infuriating pizzas where all the ingredients slide off immediately and the dough isn't done enough. Basically zero crisp.

When you sign into their website for the first time customer discount they wait an hr to send you the discount, enough time to have already place your order and not get the 10% discount.
The front desk lady is anything but pleasant
Pizza is ok, average. Crust is super good though

For the first time my pizza was a messy, I didn't like it. It looks like they just mixed up everything and brought me the pizza so quickly.

Heart of savin hill. Best pizza and wings in the area . Very clean restaurant, a friendly service lady at the counter. It's very nice. Fresh slices, ready to go I was in on Dorchester day and he had a special going on small Cheese Pizza for it. It's six dollars is seventeen cent.. it's a Boston thing.
If you know you know. I would like to go there and try other things next time. I'm around in that area.
Best pizza around, my new favorite
