Panza worked very well for our large family--seating was comfortable, and the menu was varied so everyone could find something! Portions were very generous and tasty!
I'm picky about Italian food. I have nothing but good things to say about Panza. It's not a very big place, but it's very lively with attentive service. The food (eggplant parm) was excellent, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for a great place in the North End.
Could not even get seated because of how backed up they were so I had to go to a different restaurant
Had a reservation at 5:45 - had to wait outside in line until 6:30. Don't take reservations if you can't honor them.
Cozy and comfortable with tasty food at a very fair price

Wow is this place bad!
The food is nothing better than mediocre. You can probably find better pasta at a pizza shop. I ordered the pescatore with the diavlo sauce and it was essentially a can of crushed tomatoes.
The service is also garbage. We made a reservation and even checked in 30 minutes in advance since we were walking around the north end. No matter - they seated us 40 minutes late and the actual service once inside was garbage.
Go anywhere else in the North End. Hopefully they'll shut down and then an Italian family that cares about the patron (and can cook!) will take over!

YUM. This place got us seated at a table quick and our food only took about 10 minutes to come out. We ordered the wild mushroom & goat cheese spring rolls for an appetizer and they were very unique and flavorful. For entrees, my fiance ordered the special of the day (squid ink fettuccini with shrimp and scallops in puttanesca) and I ordered the linguine alla pescatore with fra diavolo sauce (pictured). Everything was DELICIOUS. If you like authentic Italian food and seafood, I cannot recommend this place enough. The only suggestion I have is to make a reservation before you go, as this restaurant is tiny with limited seating.

We had a delicious lunch and a very nice server. My family of four dined and there was something on the menu for everyone.
We arrived, there was a line out the door. No hostess in sight. We waited 30 minutes and were never acknowledged by anyone so we left. Everyone else in line also was in the same situation.
seated at our reservation time, prompt service, delicious food, great prices, limited drink menu and no dessert but we were there for the entrees...yummy!

Scallops where tough and several had sandy texture. The risotto was watery and rice was like regular rice. More like a jambalaya than a seafood rissto. Very disappointed. Our apps were good.
I believe the "Panza" is the best Italian Restaurant in Boston,a great service and very good Dishes, when you are inside, you feel like you're in Italy.
Food was great, service not much. very small table, courses not removed in a timely matter.
I’d give it 0 stars if possible. We had a reservation here booked a week in advance, showed up early, and there was a line out the door. Not a single staff member communicated anything to us. Instead of honoring reservations, they were seating people from the line completely at random and ignoring reservations altogether. You are not at all guaranteed a table or spot even with a reservation, and they don’t communicate that either. After waiting in line with zero communication, we eventually just left. It’s a good thing we had another reservation later elsewhere, or we wouldn’t have had dinner at all. Terrible customer service, they clearly don’t care about their customers. Do not go here.

Panza is our favorite restaurant in the North end. Always consistent. Delicious. Affordable. Great staff. Same staff doe past 15 years.
