Tatte Bakery & Cafe | One Boston Place

I think I'm losing faith in Tatte....pastries were very picked over on a Saturday afternoon, staff have always been surly (at EVERY Tatte location), and despite me requesting twice to please put my dine-in latte in a mug instead of paper cup, they completely ignored it and put my hot drink in a paper cup, even when there were plenty of ceramic mugs available. The space was also extremely loud and echoey.

Delicious gluten free bread made it their bakery. My turkey, avocado, cucumber and baby lettuce with a smidge of mayo was so good. No photos 😋.

I was in Boston for a business trip and one of my colleagues happened to stumble upon Tatte. He raved about the coffee and the pastries, so I had to try it. I ordered a coffee and the raspberry, pistachio tart.
It was amazing! The coffee was incredible. Rich, smooth, flavorful. Not too hot to drink. It’s everything you imagine a high end coffee should be.
The tart was delicious. Full of flavor, not overly flakey. Just perfect.
This will be my go to spot on my next trip to Boston.

I love this coffee shop and bakery, the atmosphere takes you to a Parisian style cafe. Great coffee and tea menu and delicious food items!

The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. No tip. It is said to be a cafe frequented by locals.

Incredibly busy for breakfast. It was hard to find a seat. Pastries were really good. I had a breakfast croissant and it was good, but ordered the egg over easy and it wasn't runny, and the croissant was over toasted for me on the ends.

It's definitely a bargain to Burger King charging $12 - $20 for (2) sausage muffin's and coffee and lots of deliciousness here. Thanks for the great hospitality!
