Authentic and really good
It was my first day in Boston, and I had dinner here this evening. The warm hospitality and wonderful food made it a truly enjoyable experience.
However, due to my mistake, I left the restaurant without checking the tip, which may have caused an awkward situation. It was not intentional, but rather a misunderstanding on my part.
I sincerely apologize and ask for your kind understanding. I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again on my next visit. Thank you very much for the excellent meal and friendly service. ^^

Never actually ate here - came during dinner rush hour and the host attempted to seat me and my boyfriend (2 of us) at a 4-top table that another couple was already sat at. Confused we asked where our table was and the server said that we would have to share. Walked out and never ended up ordering anything
We have eaten at Pho Pasteur a number of times, and the food is reasonably priced and delicious. Last night it was full, but the food came quickly, and we enjoyed our meal very much. The atmosphere is very plain, but in a way, that adds to its charm. Recommended!

Exactly what you'd expect from a Pho restaurant in the heart of a major Chinatown!

The XL beef soup noodle is the best I've had outside Vietnam! There is a lot of meat which is great.

The most confusing dining experience of my life. Before we even ordered food was brought to us. When we tried to explained we didn’t order this, no one listened they just walked away. Then we had to pin down the waiter to explain we haven’t even ordered yet, and much confusion followed. I also ordered an iced tea which never came, but that’s neither here nor there. We then ordered our food which came out promptly. There were also a lot of waiters yelling at each other in Vietnamese. It added a certain ambiance. However, my friend got someone else’s order and when she tried to explain they just walked away again. When our waiter came by and saw this he asked her if this is what she ordered. He then just took the food, did not wait for her answer, and walked away again. Overall, this was the best dining experience of my life and the food was absolutely divine. Don’t walk, run.

The culinary experience was highly unsatisfactory. I found it inedible, which is unusual given I typically eat everything. Furthermore, the service did not meet expectations. This was a significant disappointment.

Mediocre pho. Noodles were stuck together in one big clump at the bottom of the bowl, had to break them apart myself. Broth came out lukewarm and quite bland. Meh!

Food was really good. Seating was crowded with our table connecting to a group of 4 which was annoying but the pho made up for it. Great portion size. Would go again but would specify for better seating 🙃

Great pho been a favorite for years
The service was fast but after I ordered my pho without cilantro due to allergies they forgot, which on its own is understandable. However, after I made them aware of this mistake they did not apologize and came back with the same bowl with all toppings removed. I still wanted green onions etc, and there was still cilantro in the bowl.

Be careful. They will add $4 just to steam the aide vegetables for your beef noodle. They pretend to not understand English. Avoid this restaurant if you can.
