We had the best time at Piattini! The atmosphere was so cozy and classic, the food was amazing, and the service was even better - Federico was so attentive and made our experience a true 10/10. Everything pictured was delicious, definitely make sure to get the Melanzana appetizer (not pictured - phone didn't get to eat first). We will definitely be back next time we visit Boston!

We stopped by Piattini without a reservation and were seated at the bar right away. The decor was charming and cozy, so we did not mind sitting at the bar at all. We started with cocktails. I ordered the Aero de carta, a bourbon and Aperol drink with a slice of lemon. It was bright, refreshing, and honestly one of the highlights of the evening. My partner had the Mezcalcello and found it fine, just not as impressive as mine.
We were served soft bread to start and the staff happily brought olive oil, vinegar, and butter when we asked for it. For our appetizer, we had the mushroom bruschetta and enjoyed the flavors and portion.
For entrees, I had the lobster ravioli which was delicious. My partner ordered the cacio e pepe and liked it as well. By the end we were so full that we could not even think about dessert.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday at piattini and we are still thinking about how perfect the night was. The private backroom felt like stepping into a warm Tuscan home, cozy, intimate, and full of character. It created the ideal atmosphere for an evening with our closest friends, family and kids.
A a huge part of why the night went so smoothly was thanks to Claudia their event planner who helped plan this event with me. From the very first conversation she made the planning process effortless, she handled every detail with so much care. Menu suggestions, seamless coordination and a calm professionalism that instantly put me at ease. Claudia said the tone long before the evening even began.
The piattni team took it from there and absolutely outdid themselves. The custom printed menu was beautiful. The service was exceptional. The staff made sure every single person felt welcomed and looked after which is rare and very special.

We hosted a 50th birthday celebration at Piattini, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The private back room, with its warm wood, soft lighting, and rustic charm, felt like stepping straight into a home in Tuscany. It created the perfect backdrop for an evening with 18 of our closest friends, family, and children.
From the moment we arrived, the Piattini team exceeded every expectation. They prepared a beautifully printed custom menu for our group, the servers were attentive without ever being intrusive, and every dish—from the antipasti to the desserts—was outstanding. It’s rare to find a restaurant where hospitality feels this genuine. The staff made sure every single person at the table felt welcomed, cared for, and relaxed.
The night flowed effortlessly, and the warmth of the space, food, and service created the kind of memories you don’t forget. Piattini truly feels like a Tuscan home-away-from-home, and we are grateful for the love and care they poured into this celebration.
We will absolutely be returning, and I hope more people discover this gem. Highly recommended for anyone planning a special night or simply craving exceptional Italian food in a place that feels like family.

We had an amazing experience thanks to Federico, who was an outstanding server. He recommended several dishes from the specials and they were all delicious, but the Sticky Toffee Pudding he suggested was honestly the best I’ve ever had. I totally recommend this place, and if you can, ask to be served by Federico. He truly makes the experience unforgettable.

We had a party of 6; they charged their large party fee of 20% two times. Our bill went from ~$200 to ~$300 just from a mandatory tip.

My experience was a 10/10, everything was great, my server Federico, was really great, the suggestions he offered were incredible like adding roasted potatoes to the New York Steak, or a glass of the Chianti, I’m definitely coming back again with more friends to share this amazing experience

We did not have reservations and despite being peak hours they accommodated us. Before we ordered they had a better table open up since we were a party of 5 and moved us over there, very nice of the host. Food selection is good, we had scampi and truffle ravioli, tuscan chicken. Everything was pretty good, i enjoyed the trufle ravioli. Desert menu looked good but we just shared the toffee pudding or cake which was ok ok, i have had better. Overall good food, good service, good hosts. Would certainly return back

I came with 2 other people and was able to get indoor seating during a busy Saturday night after a 20 minute bubble tea trip. The service was great and the host was especially kind. I felt looked after and we all liked our food and loved the atmosphere. Will be back!

We visited here on a bustling Saturday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food.
Spinach gnocchi went well with the rich and velvety spinach and pesto sauce.
Black truffle ravioli was served in a mushroom sauce with notes of garlic. It was decent in taste but felt overpriced at 33$.
Fusili al pesto was perfectly balanced with tender fusili pasta, stir fried mushrooms and light pesto sauce.
Unfortunately, we couldn't try any pizza since oven was out of order but will come back another time

We visited this place on Nov 6 for dinner. Overall it was an underwhelming experience. I ordered pesto pasta which was terrible. The pesto was not authentic, and tested terrible. The color was overly green (may be added green color), texture felt so green leafy veggies pureed in blender, and it tested bitter (and terrible). I have eaten pesto from many different places including restaurants in Italy. This was not real pesto. We also ordered truffle ravioli which was average as well but not as bad as pesto pasta. The only reason for 2 stars is their tiramisu which was amazing. Also their service and ambience were excellent.
