Piccolo’s may be off the beaten path, but well worth seeking it out! The owner himself took care of us. Mostly regulars when we were there which says a lot about the place, everyone was having fun.

The meal was excellent, pasta was fresh and flavorful. Had the Veal Marsala and the Farfalle. Both were great dishes.

We’ll be back for sure the next time we are in Boston!

The food is authentic and Pino is ever an engaging and entertaining host. My son insists on taking him and his friends there every year on his birthday.

We always have a great dining experience at Piccolo Nido. The food is always outstanding and we love the atmosphere. Pino makes us feel like we are family EVERY time and he is so generous! We love everything on the menu. It's a North End gem!

I make it a point of visiting here every time I am in Boston. It's absolutely perfect. The quality of food and the exceptional service makes this a must stop. I've brought family, colleagues and clients here and it never disappoints. It evokes such great memories of my Italian heritage.

I wanted a place out of the main tourist area that was small and relaxed. Excellent food w/o a stuffy started atmosphere. THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Dined here 10/18/25. Family....that is what you will feel like after you leave. Totally satisfied and delighted with amazing food is how you will step away from the table. Not rushed with amazing service. The food quality is top notch. We had veal parm, porcini ravioli, and reguna pasta. The homemade pasta was incredible. The veal filled the plate and was so perefectly thin and tender. Some wine, some caprese, lots of smiles & laughs topped off with the lightest tiramisu. Perfect evening. Don't go anywhere else and make a reservation!!! Can't wait to go back.

We had the most wonderful dinner at Piccolo Nido. It is truly a hidden gem. My shrimp with risotto was one of the best risottos I've ever had. My daughter had the gnocchi; which was delicious. But the star of the dinner was my son's buttered noodles. I know that sounds crazy; but these were the best buttered noodles we had ever had! They were great with the kids and the atmosphere was perfect.

I can’t recommend this place enough. The food is FANTASTIC, and it’s off the beaten path enough that you can always get a table with extremely friendly service. Very fresh ingredients and the portions are very filling without being gluttonous. Literally everything we have had here is excellent over multiple visits- GET THE SPAGHETTI CHITARRA AND THE MUSHROOM CREPES!! Some of the recipes are Pino’s grandmothers and you can feel the love and soul in all of it. I would give him a 20 out of 10.

This is a review I could not wait to write. Dinner at Piccolo Nido was outstanding!! Food was delicious. Service impeccable. This , for me, was the epitome of a locally owned, North End Italian restaurant.

If that wasn’t enough, we were blessed to listen to Pino share some of his special stories. Too good to be true may actually be true.

PS. Spencer knows how to pick restaurants.

We had a wonderful meal and evening at Piccolo Nido. The food was delicious, a gem in the North End. The Mushroom Ravioli were the best we have ever had, cooked perfectly. The Amatriciana and Caesar salad were delicious also. The owner was quite a character and we really enjoyed talking with him. Highly recommend the Tiramisu.

Food was delicious and fresh! They were very flexible and willing to accommodate some adjustments that a member of my party with specific dietary needs asked for. The service was prompt and thorough. Vibe was extremely chill and relaxed. It was a really lovely dinner!
