If I could give a 0 I would, the food was disgusting I couldn’t finish 2 bites of the food I threw the rest away and got so nauseous and threw up after, to top it all off, they took forever and the workers are so rude and make fun of you in their own language if you tell them you have an allergy, I don’t think they follow food restrictions so please be aware of this please and avoid eating here at all costs! They deserve to be shut down!

Surprisingly good takeout sushi spot.
Didn’t think Downtown Boston needed another affordable Asian takeout place, but this one actually serves some of the best quick bites in the area. Despite being right next to the Commons, the sushi rolls are priced like grocery store sushi, but taste better & fresher. Most recently, I tried the chicken katsu curry, and it was really solid for the price. The curry leaned a bit watery, but they used chicken thigh for the katsu, which kept it tender and juicy without excess fat.
Given the number of students nearby, it gets busy during the semester. You can ask for your rolls to be made fresh, but even the pre-packed ones from the fridge were nearly as good. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for something cheap, quick, and actually decent around Downtown.

The high ratings may have raised my expectations a bit. The miso soup was quite different from what I’m used to, which may have influenced my overall impression.
That said, the sushi rolls were fresh and tasty, and prices are reasonable. It’s a self-service spot, so just something to keep in mind. Overall, a good place for a quick bite while exploring the city.

The works poke bowl is excellent! Sauce, flavors and sushi were extremely delicious. Space inside is quite clean and there are a decent amount of seats to dine in. Will definitely be returning!

My wife and I visited PickN'Roll Sushi and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. We ordered a bowl, which was very delicious and fresh. The ingredients were perfectly selected, the fish was fresh, and the portions were generous. We especially liked the cozy and friendly atmosphere of the place. We will definitely come back again! Highly recommend this place to all sushi and Asian cuisine lovers.
