Order dinner from here for the first time and it looked and tasted like slop. Lunch is amazing but dinner I would stay away from. Sorry Southend Pita, I could've eaten in my neighbor for much better halal dinner.
Walked in on a Friday lunch time, not busy at all inside.
I got a chicken shawarma combo plate with hot sauce, $18.06 was my total, including tax and tip.
Hot sauce had just a small kick, salad dressing and the salad was standard, nothing crazy.
Chicken shawarma itself wasn’t dry, but it didn’t have a lot of flavor which was a lil disappointing.
Sauce helped make up for it a bit and the rice was perfectly cooked.

I discovered this place yesterday and I’m back again today… may even be back tomorrow :)The food is amazing!!! By far one of the best I’ve had. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and quick. I’ve tried the chicken shawarma roll, the lamb shank platter, the baklava, the Egyptian cakes and the Arab coffee (spiced coffee). Not even sure what’s my favorite because it was all so very delicious. Now I’m obsessed with Moroccan food.I ended up watching a soccer game...
