I got a large poke bowl from Poke station, which includes 3 protein types, but they gave me three half scoops of fish—basically the same as one maybe 2 regular scoops. One of my sides was corn, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I counted only 9 kernels in my bowl after I got it in my hands. When I asked for just a bit more, they told me it would cost extra. The food itself was decent, but the portions were ridiculously small for a large bowl that cost me $17. Definitely not worth the price. Super stingy with the portions.

I’ve been to Poke Station near Northeastern a few times, but today really upset me. I picked mango, kimchi, and wonton chips—and they gave me literally one piece of each.
I went back just hoping for a quick apology and the right amount of food. But the young woman with long hair who added my toppings just stared at me and said, “So do you want more?” No apology at all.
Then an older lady nearby said I was making a big deal out of nothing, and a man even told me to just get a refund.
From start to finish, not a single person apologized….not even a fake, polite one. That’s what hurt the most.
And honestly, I stayed calm the whole time. I really tried to be respectful.
Really disappointed.

The young lady behind the counter gave SIGNIFICANTLY LESS amount of fish for my sushi burrito than it should be. Literally witnessed her giving three FULL scoops of fish for the guy before me. I order the same thing every time at this place and usually the ones made by the older lady have really good portion. Also the man (probably the owner) of this place was INCREDIBLY MEAN to me when I asked if I can substitute ingredients for my order. Feel like this place doesn’t worth coming anymore

Incredibly worth it. Compared to other Poke spots, they have lots of free extra toppings such as grilled zukini, crab sticks and etc

Inside the place was very nice, and the food was simply a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!! It felt like an explosion went off in my mouth, and I was experiencing all the wonderful flavors of Hawaii!! ALOHA!
Customer service was also exquisite!

…maybe the clientele here are not Asian or not used to good poke but I don’t recommend this place.
Fish was very dry and cuts were smaller than average. The spicy tuna from other places usually has a creamy sriracha mayo sauce on it but here the sauce is not creamy/is flaky and dry and there’s barely any on the fish. The fish itself tasted very metallic.
Salmon was glossy and moist so I would get that over the tuna.
There was barely any sauce on my bowl so it ended up tasting like rice with dry metallic fish :( the most flavorful part of my bowl was literally the edamame…

Every couple of weeks I visit Poke Station on Huntington avenue for my usual Sushrito or/ and Fisherman Poke Bowl with spicy mayo added and crunchies too!
Now the goyaza, fried are crispie and delicious.
Staff knows me well, as soon as I enter, they are putting my Asian specialties together.

I have been coming to Poke Station since 2018 and love all their bowls so much! The Green bowl is a favorite, and I’ll even come completely across town just for Poke Station. The folks working here are very sweet too ?

It is tiny and not super wheelchair friendly, FYI. The place is a bit dim for lighting, and the seating area is crowded and close, but luckily, I got there before the dinner rush, and had the place to myself. They have a set menu but you can also build a bowl. I built 2 bowls.
One thing I notice that happens a ton in Boston is that folks who were literally speaking clear and fluent English when you came in switch it up and pretend to not understand you. Why???
Whatever, I got my food. All my food for the day excluding some fruit I had later. 1st bowl- (tuna, edamame, corn, cabbage, cucumber, kimchi, sushi rice, sesame sauce) tasted fine until I bit into some particulate at the end of my meal. What the heck is up with eggshell and rock salt, and all these weird items ending up in food? People stop eating food from other places while your cooking people or being gross and putting things into peoples food who did you no wrong just because you are having a bad day. Like what is the deal with the crazy lack of customer service? Anyway, the 2nd bowl (salmon, carrots, cucumber, kimchi, mango, edamame, tomatoes, brown rice, and spicy mayo,) and it made me feel like I was back in Hawaii for a second. It was soooo good. Apparently something happened and the staff got out of their feelings and one of them was nice and even helped me open my drink. SO - 1 okay and 1 very good, which is I am giving them 3 stars.

Small place. Service OK. Nothing unpleasant. Poke bowl with fish cuts not fresh compared to other poke places within Downtown area. Didn't realized there was dark black hair about 1/2-1 inch length in the bowl until halfway through. It was mixed in with rice, sauce and other ingredients. Lost my appetite. Folks need to wear hair nets when creating and mixing these ingredients for customers to keep it more sanitary.
