Comfy place for some bar food. Wish they had exact prices next to the items on the menu so you know what you're paying. Also my burger bun was cold. Overall, not bad, but not superb.

Great to see Harpoon IPA on tap!! Awesome place!
If you are ever in Boston this is place is a must, staff is always great. A couple years ago after a Celtics game we stumbled to this bar, and we had to come again before we left Boston on that trip we loved the burgers, staff and atmosphere so much. We came back recently last week and we had to stop at Porter's luggage and all ? they were super accommodating and we really loved our time there again. For me and my guy it's our spot when we're in Boston

This is the go to spot when my coworkers and I get out of work. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family. They'll always call you by name. Susan and John are very personable bartenders. When serving someone new, John will always say "My name's John, let me know if you need something". Food wise, I've only gotten the wings, and they're pretty good, perfectly crispy. My coworker raves about their taco salad. Overall, a great place to let loose and enjoy yourself after work.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcome, but it is a more adult oriented environment. There is a corner dining section away from the bar, which is more appropriate for children when it comes to seating.

Very very very poor service. People are rude at a point you don't feel welcome!!!
Scott, The owner of Porters Bar and Grill was an absolute gentleman. With Scott being the owner and Because of the work shortage, he was our server last night and he did a wonderful job of being attantive while also giving us space and always making sure our drinks were full. Scott also told us about all of the changes in the restaurant business over his tenure of ownership ( 24 years !!! ) which was interesting to say the least. I would 100 % recommend Porters Bar and Grill ( Try the Bone in Buffalo Wings !!!!! ) !!!!!!Thanks to Scott and his crew - " The Car Guys "

My husband and I showed up on Valentine’s Day before a Celtics game without a reservation and Jeff made sure to find a place for us. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. We even stopped back in for a night cap after the game.
