Ceviches were flavorful, but a little on the salty side. Really enjoyed the kale salad, which was refreshing and well balanced.

Haven't been here in a while but their Taco Tuesdays are where it's at with low-priced delicious and nutritious tacos. My friend and I go to absolute town and I can't move when I'm done. Don't know about the other days of the week. Can't wait to go back. Oh and ah, sometimes they blast the reggaeton at Max volume. For me it’s worth it but they could turn the knob down a little.

I had a really pleasant experience here at Puro. Stopped in for a few quick bites with a friend, perfect atmosphere to chill and chat. The tuna ceviche was incredibly fresh and flavorful, balancing flavors of acidity and spice. My Aperol Spritz had just the right ratio of flavors (leaning on the Aperol side, the way I like it). The highlight of the meal was the pulpo a la plancha; the grilled octopus was tender, perfectly charred, and packed an impressive depth of flavor. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual but elevated dining experience. My favorite time to eat here is the spring/summer when there’s outdoor seating too. Will be back!

It looked cute and had good reviews so we tried it out. The waiters made eye contact with us when we first came in, but then the guy went back to looking at his phone and it took a few minutes for them to come to us to seat us. Mind you, it was not busy.

We were sat at the bar but no menus were given nor a QR code. Had to flag down the guy to give us a plastic thing with their menu QR code on it.

We were finally able to order the sea bass ceviche and paella. Their menu had reviews that you can read, which people only had good things to say. Now, I’m convinced it was probably the employees/friends who left those good reviews…

We waited about 30 minutes for a simple ceviche and it had a very strong tangy taste only in the beginning and as you chew, the taste completely disappears within a few seconds and the ceviche becomes completely bland. The green pepper (which I thought was a bell pepper as there was also a red one in there), was extremely spicy and I wish it had a warning because I’m unable to eat spicy foods.. Even my husband said it was too spicy, who normally likes to eat quite spicy things.

As for the paella, it came out after about 45 minutes, which is to be expected. However, it wasn’t even a paella; unlike any paella I have had before. First of all, it was so fishy that we only had a bite and couldn’t eat it anymore. Mind you, the thing is $42. The smell wafted to us even though we had pushed it away as far as we could; that’s how fishy it was. Secondly, it was very watery and had a lot of “juice” that was covering the rice about halfway, which should NOT be the be case.

We simply asked for the check but when the waitress came and asked if we wanted a box, we said no thank you, and I think she got offended by it. She made a face and was asking why, we told her it’s not quite our style and that it was a bit too fishy for us. No attempts were made to offer any reconciliation, which is fine, but she became standoffish like she took that personally. It also took another five minutes of staring at the waiters and once again, had to flag them down for them to come take the card so we could pay and leave.

Overall, it was a terrible experience and we ended up getting different food delivered to our hotel. 😢

While I did not eat here, my son and his girlfriend did. The part that is absolutely phenomenal is that Puro worked with me to make sure I could get him a gift certificate, personalized for him, despite them not yet able to sell GC online. This was a space my son really wanted to try, and I am so grateful for Puro for their exceptional effort and service!!

My wife and I along with my brother and his wife had the privilege of enjoying a great meal on Saturday. Not only was the food great ! the service we had was unforgettable. The waiter was a class act of a person "Cheers" His warmth was received as soon as we walked through the door. A plus of a place and highly recommended...................

We had a great experience especially when it came to their ceviche mixto—easily a 10/10. The flavors were bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, exactly what you’d expect from great Peruvian ceviche. The patatas were also a standout, crispy and flavorful also a 10/10.

However, while the seafood was generally solid, the restaurant seems to lean a bit away from traditional Peruvian flavors in some dishes. The grilled octopus (7/10), for example, was well-cooked but felt more like something from a Greek restaurant rather than a Peruvian spot. Similarly, the tuna (7/10) and octopus ceviches (6/10) lacked the same boldness that made the mixto shine and seemed weird.

If they doubled down on authentic Peruvian roots, especially with dishes like the ceviche mixto, this place could be truly exceptional. Still, if you’re looking for fresh, well-prepared seafood, it’s definitely worth a visit. 4.3/5 overall!

Great food. Shrimp ceviche was fantastic! As a side, the calamari was also delicious, and worked well with the Barsol Pisco!

Vegetarian options: De Palmitos is a great vegetarian option. There is an eggplant option too.

Phenomenal Birthday Celebration at Puro Ceviche!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Puro Ceviche with my girlfriends, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Luis, who provided exceptional service throughout the night.

We went all out and ordered every single item on the menu, and let me tell you—not one dish disappointed! Every plate was served hot, fresh, and delicious. In a group of ten, not a single person had a complaint or needed to send anything back.

A special shoutout to Natasha, who surprised me and my girls with birthday shots, making the night even more memorable! The energy, the service, and the overall experience were top-notch. This was my third visit, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last.

If you’re looking for a place with incredible food, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere, Puro Ceviche is the spot. Highly recommend!
