Eugene was our server and greeted us with a big smile which stayed throughout the evening. The drink menu is interesting but beware that a lot of the cocktails are pre-mixed.The pisco sour was authentic and very good though. We had the tuna ceviche, which was fantastic. It unexpectedly had capers and a touch of soy sauce, giving it a really interesting new dimension. We also ordered the chicken tacos and the fish tacos. Both very good, the chicken is dark meat, but made it a little bit juicier. This restaurant is in a downstairs location on Newbury Street. The atmosphere is cheery and funky, tables close together. There is bar seating. So if you want a classy night out, this is not a great choice. But if you want delicious food and very cheery service, you should try Puro.
Prices are a lot but once you get in there you definitely wanna buy something haha
Availability of tables on OpenTable, but told that they had a private party so there would be a wait.
This was my first time there. The food was average. The service was good. Not a place that I would go back

This place is AMAZING, the tuna ceviche is perfect the citrusy is on point, it feels fresh and that is important, is a mixture of Mexican cuisine with an upscale idea, happily surprised! As a seafood lover I’m happy to try new ideas with the Mexican cuisine! Try the octopus just great

Food was delicious and the cocktails too (just a bit expensive) but the best was the service, we wish we would have asked the Rumanian and the Colombian guys their names, they were awesome!
Puro Ceviche has quickly become one of my favorite spots! I’ve been a few times now, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The shrimp tacos and guacamole were so good, and the seabass and mixto ceviche are my absolute favorites — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails (Our Passion and Sol y Sal) are just perfect. The staff is always warm and attentive, and the cozy, artistic vibe makes it such a fun place to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. Can’t wait for my next visit! 🌮🐟🍹💛

Always have a wonderful experience at Puro! I just had dinner and drinks at the bar. It’s a perfect vibe for an intimate date or grab a table with a group friends. Shrimp tacos are a must!

First time dining and enjoyed all of our dishes: tuna ceviche, pulpo, calamari, and cachapa. And $1 oysters to boot. Good service as well. Highly recommended!

Tried to have dinner there tonight. Waited while employees walked past to be checked on in for reservation. Over 15 minute wait for someone to even approach our table. Restaurant was not busy.

Tried the Branzino, it was amazing! Definitely adding it to my list of go-tos. The shrimp ceviche is a must as well! Always an amazing experience and the food never disappoints!

I walked in today around 8pm and wasn’t greeted at all. We stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes while servers kept walking past us. I eventually had to approach the bartender and ask if we could sit outside—he said yes, so we ended up seating ourselves.
A server came by and dropped off water but didn’t say a single word, just placed it down and walked away. No one introduced themselves or made us feel welcome. On top of that, our water cups were dirty, the chips that came with the ceviche were stale, and when we asked for a high chair for my sister’s baby, we never received one. I will say the steak tacos were delicious and I’m glad I got some good food at least.
This was overall the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had service wise. Really disappointing, especially because I was excited to try this place.

Bad and pricey sea bass ceviche. Wrong proportion of fish to condiments (barely any fish!). Fish was also diced in pieces that were way too small. I can't believe this place has such good reviews, maybe people in the US don't know good ceviche? I feel robbed. Friendly staff.
