It has been made clear that tourists are NOT welcome at this establishment. The big bald bartender WILL berate you, belittle you and disrespect you in ways that will boggle your mind. During my visit, he was so rude that I initially thought it was a joke - you know one of those "servers have an attitude" type places. I was sadly mistaken. This man did not want me or my family in the restaurant and made that clear when he told me he "didn't have any pizza for you." How do they stay in business? Don't locals prefer Regina's or Ernesto's or, heck, DOMINOS over this place anyway?

When most other restaurants in the North End have long lines going out the door, you may have better luck at getting a seat here -- and the pizza is delicious! Good option to know about! Not fancy, but they deliver on the pizza.

Horrific experience! Bartender was extremely rude, aggressive and argumentative to multiple customers, myself included. Accused them of being liars and refused to make any drinks other than the overpriced concoctions on his menu. Would not let my brother use the restroom because he was not a paying customer, even though I was! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Went here after a long of walking around in Boston. When we entered the restaurant, the man behind the bar started eyeing us out when we wanted to put some tables together. He proceeded to ask us if he should do it, in an angry manner. After seeing his reaction, and how he started talking to himself, we asked him wether he would like us to go somewhere else, and he replied that that would be for the best. After exiting, I stopped to take a picture of the restaurant, but he started yelling to us and cursing at us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all, because of the poor customer service.

I don't normally post bad reviews, but this place was awful. The bartender was extremely rude and aggressive. I was there with my mother and sisters, and he made us so uncomfortable that we opted to get our food to go rather than sit there and listen to this guy berate all the customers. Do not go here.

This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is fun and the pizza is amazing. Full bar and TVs. Bring your friends and have fun.

I travel quite often and have experienced pizza many times from places known for their pizza. Places like Chicago, NYC, and even italian made pizza. Let me tell you this pizza pub ranks right up with those places with the goodness that comes out of their ovens.

Cool place in old boston building. Great pizza, good price and nice people.

Such a cozy place with good slices near TD Garden

When we initially got there, there were only two people at the bar but by the time we left it was standing room only. Between the lively bartender who was funny and very fast at his job and the ridiculously beautiful smell of fresh pizza and calzones, this open air pizzaria was a welcome stop. It made us feel like we were neighbors just stopping in for a slice with friends. Pizza slices were huge. If you're in the neighborhood or on The Freedom Trail, which this is just a couple blocks away, and want a snack and a smile, this is the spot.

So the pizza is great but the beer N*** bartender ruins the whole atmosphere. Don't eat at the bar.

Stopped in with a group of friends for wine, due to the bar being open and we were waiting for our table to be ready across the street. The big bartender was an j*** right away. As we sat he proceeded give our group a hard time and call us names in Italian, including racial insults. Little did he know that one of our group spoke Italian and called him out on it. We decided to leave and asked for the check, he placed the check far from my reach so when I went to grab it I accidentally tipped my glass. I was able to catch my glass there was a small spill. As I tried to clean it up with my napkin he swatted my hand away and took my unfinished glass of wine. I apologized for the accident with, I am sorry to only be told in return not as sorry as he was. No pizza or wine is worth this rude behavior. especially with other pizza shops down the road.

What more can I say about this place? I walk into the place, and right away before I even say anything the big bald bar tender gives me dirty looks and ignores me. Pizza looked and smelled great. I needed a table for 4, and was going to spend a lot of money there. I guess I wasn't the right complexion for his taste. But hey! Some businesses just care more about who they serve instead of how much green they can make. That's okay, I was happy to leave this establishment and take my business elsewhere.

Great pizza. Service is authentic Boston. ; ) You have to go and get their pizza. Forget the rest. This is great slice.
