Stopped in for breakfast before court. Was hungry and had stress induced stomach ache coming on and needed to get some food in me. Got the saltfish breakfast and it was delicious. Their hot sauce taste like what I’ve only found in Rwanda and Caribbean Panama. Had to remind myself to slow down and not overdo it before court. Getting some real food in my stomach was exactly what was needed to get through a stressful morning.

This usta to be my favorite spot to grab excellent food with superior service but not no more. They're under NEW MANAGEMENT now when you enter Jamaican music is BLASTING. There are 8-10 men in the back have very LOUD conversations....like they in there backyard. Since they open I'd come after work on Mondays and get chicken soup now after five NO SOUP. I got off at 1pm last week the person that answered the phone had to put some (the last of it) aside for me and yesterday at 1pm NO SOUP told 1 hour....I get there at 2pm still no soup....music blasting men in the back talking up a storm....its 35 degrees outside and they did not think to make soup....I'm completely done....especially seeing a lady sweeping the floor back there...all kind of dust particles flying in the air.....getting on the food🤮

This place is really good. Standard Caribbean options like stew chicken, curry chicken, curry goat, etc.
I ordered a beef patty and it was perfect. Light and flaky on the outside and a little spice on the inside. Their service is also excellent!

This place is a front for a scam operation. They took a charge for almost $200 from me from a credit card that they had me set up and scamed me.
Do not give them your credit cards. I will be filing charges with this credit card company and the attorney general of Texas and the attorney general of Massachusetts to have them shut down.

Rude... unwelcoming service. Food was so..so since they over fill your plate with rice. They have a poor atmosphere and priorities the people they know. I gave this place a bunch of chances.

Today is June 14th 2025….. I went in for a large steak I didn’t realize it was close to closing. I asked if they had steak to which… yes , was the reply….
I got the plate and he said it wasn’t enough steak…. So the other choice was chicken… mind you they had oxtail ( I overheard on my way out) ….. they charged me for a large steak…. It want even a whole piece of steak just broken chunks and 3 pieces of chicken…. I been yall since Blue Hill Ave days….. I am beyond disappointed….. this is the second time yall skimped me. There will not be a 3rd!!!!

I used to eat there all the time. And then 1 day I went there for some saltfish, and the lady gave me what wasn't even considered a plate. Oh, food, it was very small. For the price that I paid and then today I called an asked if they were still being stingy with the food and the lady said yes, they will not be getting my little bit of dollars
Bad customer service , the workers there need to have regulation on what they think they can tell paying customers. You may policy in how you serve your dishes. But how you communicate that is more important.
