Reelhouse is worth a visit if you’re looking for a great view of the Boston skyline — the location really delivers on that. I went on a Wednesday evening, so it wasn’t too crowded, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I was also pleasantly surprised by how good the clam chowder was. I’d be happy to return if I’m in the area. I was able to find street parking, but depending on the time, it could be a challenge.

Scenic location with great outdoor seating. The drinks were delicious and the Cioppino was fantastic.

Bar food so that’s it. The view is amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

Mediocre and overpriced drinks. Shitty service. We found an empty high top table at the bar. The bar manager has the audacity to kick us from a high table coz he “needs it for a private party”

ReelHouse advertises that they’re open till 1 AM, but it depends on what Marco decides closing time might be. There were 10 people at the bar with drinks, and 10 more of us coming in. They lost that revenue. When we showed up at 11:50 Marco said that they had already closed.

The view is beautiful. However as others have mentioned service and food was not. Our waitress went missing most of the time. We choose to finish appetizers and leave unfortunately.

The ambiance is great at both places. However the food is mediocre at best. I order a sushi taco for $28 and it was awful tasting and tiny. I think they are doing way too much and need to get back to basics.

I’m rating primarily on food because that’s where the cost comes from. Our server was engaged, kind, and prompt. The atmosphere was delightful and I’m grateful we were seated outside because it was loud inside.
But the food…I ordered the lobster bisque - flavorless. I was so disappointed. I had to add like a teaspoon of salt. The truffle fries we ordered were also underseasoned and came with ketchup compared to an aioli, which was a weird choice for the flavor palate. I don’t think we’d return for anything other than drinks and bar food. And it was very pricey.

Be careful with the rude and prejudiced Brazilian waitress at this restaurant. We had a very unpleasant experience, and at the end — after spending $440 — she and the waiter Carlos (who turned out to be fake, and I regret tipping nearly $80) were giving each other high fives as we were leaving, celebrating our departure.

We had just sat down when the waitress started telling us we had to order a main course to sit there — right after we had already ordered a $70 appetizer.

It’s truly disappointing that a restaurant with such polite management has servers who behave so poorly.

Very good food right on the water. Beautiful sunset views of Boston, and Charlestown from the back deck. The oysters and lobster roll were great. The menu is a bit disjointed. A few items are not quite an appetizer -too large/expensive - and not quite an entree - too small, yet priced like an entree. An example are the tacos. It would be great if they could create a small plate section for sharing or for combining two or three things for a meal.

This was our first time and we are fans! The food was so good! We had oysters and a lobster roll and the duck. Everything was phenomenal. Our server, Jocelyn, was so sweet and friendly and helpful. The best part was there’s dinghy parking! We will be back for sure!

Great restaurant with delicious food and drinks with an unbeatable view of the city. A little on the pricier side

The food was good, but a little salty. I don't recommend it for people with high blood pressure.
