Loved the chaotic atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The haddock was lightly breaded but mushy. The mussels in the seafood dish, were tough and fishy.

The food was okay - nothing stellar and only two entrees were actually good in our opinion. The sauces didn't have much flavor, the gnocchi was overcooked. We did like the risotto and ravioli. The service was slow and honestly our main server was a bit rude. The shrimp entree looked like they had just dumped everything on our plate and there was liquid dripping the side of the plate that we received. When we asked our server whether this was the correct presentation he said yes ... disappointing and would not recommend.

We had a reservation at 8:30. When we walked in it was super busy....I get it. But the guy at the front was kind of rude. I said I have a reservation for 8:30. He said “well good luck”. It took about an hour a half for our food and was super loud. The waiter was nice. He apologized a couple of times and told us he felt bad. Food was ok.

The food was very mediocre. We were looking forward to a nice meal in the north end with authentic Italian food. The food was fairly tasteless, the pasta was overcooked, the gnocchi was dry and chewy, and a dish ordered that was cooked in a madeira sauce was literally shrimp dropped in madeira with no reduction, ruining the flavor of the shrimp. To top that off, we were seated a full 45 minutes after our reservation time.

The food and service never disappoints! Brought our daughter and her friends here and they plan to make it a regular stop during college semesters. LOL.

The waiter was miserable, rude and impatient. The calamari had more peppers than calamari. The entrees were good though. Would never come back here if it was the last place to go because of the waiter

Wonderful dinner at Riccardo's! Soft fresh bread dipped in seasoned olive oil to start Followed by Pollo Exquisito for two of our party, which was delicious! Husband had lobster ravioli which he really enjoyed. Excellent service all around. We would definitely go back!

Place is not great. Waited 45 minutes for our res, ordered a Diet Coke twice and they forgot both times, some rando was singing the loudest opera music of all time in the restaurant then asked us for a tip after 26 seconds, the Alfreda sauce was deadass water, and the food was cold. L + ratio.

The server was nice but not very attentive. My order was incorrect and it was fixed, but not warm. My husband's meal as piping hot. We went early but was hectic at about 5:45 on a Saturday and there didn't seem to be enough servers. Lots of good places in the North End, I likely will not return.

Worst Italian food I’ve ever had. The waiter was extremely rude. I absolutely do not recommend this place — avoid it

Very busy, noisy restaurant. Quite a challenge until we got used to it. There were a couple of problems with our table and they comp'ed our drinks which was very generous. The food was good and the service amazing considering how busy and under pressure the staff were.

Food was excellent. Our waiter was very funny. Though the dinner food came late and some was cold when it got to us. Plus after 7:30 pm, the restaurant became very loud.
