We had the most amazing dinner experience there Thursday night! The food was delicious, our waiter was great, and we had singers and a violinist play for us making the experience even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an amazing authentic Italian dinner.
Service very slow; wine was not good; food has gone downhill- last visit was 6 years ago and was one of our favorites. Disappointed
Love the energy and service at Riccardo's! Had such a fun time, enjoying a very authentic North End Italian meal! Food was delicious and we really enjoyed the staff.
Easy to find and service was delightful!
Great experience and amazing food! Will definitely be visiting again next time we visit Boston!
Food was absolutely delicious! It was the perfect first day of summer night dinner. We can't wait to go back!
This was hands down the most unexpectedly iconic dinner I've had. Violinists. Singers. Strong cocktails. The best waiter ever named Ben. 11/10 vibes.
Food is good but if you get the tall waiter he will ignore you unless you have a man at the table. We had to flag him down for every little detail despite being next to the other couple. He brought our waters and walked away without a word to take the drink order of the couple that just sat down behind us, bring their drinks, take their food order, put their order into the computer then disappear into the kitchen. Finally coming back to ask us AGAIN if we wanted drinks. He was mostly nowhere to be found but sometimes he’d pop out of the kitchen eating something and talking to his coworkers (not even looking at his section). Dude is really bad at his job and/or a misogynist. Take your pick. We finally were able to flag him down for our check and he disappeared for another 10min before I finally asked somebody else to run the card. We were his only table. And you don’t wait ten minutes after dropping the check. Just really rude and disappointing. I would honestly not go back there because of that guy.
We only had appetizers and salad at this establishment. We had the shareable meatballs. It was really good. The staff were very nice
The service is bad the personal is always angry

Pasta dish was good. Al dente and fresh clams. Steak was dissappointing. Meat was good - but almost no seasoning and it came on a plate only with broccoli on the side. The broccoli was boiled with no added salt to the cooking water - so zero taste. I guess I have learned not to order steak when I could have opted for traditional Italian dishes. Service was good - very fast and attentive. Noise level in restaurant very high almost unbearable. Impossible to have a conversation across the table.
This place is great for the price. The staff was busy and attentive. They had great wine suggestions and the shrimp Alfredo was awesome. A lot of times shrimp won't have much taste because it sucks. But this shrimp had tons of flavor. The Alfredo sauce and noodles were phenomenal. I loved the complimentary bread that came with olive oil and parmesan. My only gripe was the calamari app came out a little fast and a little under crispy for my liking. But it was still good.
Service was fast, but full disclosure, I was in town on buisness and sat at the bar. So that may have sped things up a bit.
Definitely get a reservation for larger parties.
You wont regret giving this place a try.
I’ve been to a handful of restaurants in the North End and have never been disappointed, but this one was especially elegant. I took a group of seven people (some had never been to the North End before, and some who had). Everyone was impressed! Our server, Mike, was extra nice to our tourist-y bunch and made sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the seasoned, parm-y olive oil for dipping complimentary bread into and the hefty scoops of parmesan they offer for topping your dish. The restaurant is also larger and roomier than some other restaurants in the area, which was great for the disabled person in my party.
Went here for my birthday and had a great time! I had a shrimp and scallop spicy pasta, which was amazing and the portions were huge. I wasn’t crazy about the drinks, but I did land on a red sangria that was pretty tasty. The tiramisu was small, but yummy. They let us bring our own cake. Singers came by and really livened up the vibe. It was great! I will say it was a little bit warm in there. They had the windows open, which I wish I would’ve knew that was the case because I definitely would have dressed differently. Our waiter was so nice and accommodating. It’s north end so the parking situation is to be expected. If you’ve never been to Boston, the north end has terrible parking. We parked in a parking garage and it was a short walk to the restaurant. Can’t beat the location!
We had an excellent dinner celebrating my daughter's birthday at Riccardos. The food was excellent as was the service. Definitely a can't miss spot for a fun delightful dinner in the north end.
