I wanted to try it for a while and I was not disappointed. I had King Richard sandwich, it has some heat & roast beef was tender. The flavors go well together but I wish it has lettuce and tomatoes which i didn't know.

I don't know how I haven't reviewed this place yet. But it's top notch. It's a great little hidden jem in Packard's corner. I try to hit this up whenever I'm close enough around lunch time and have never been disappointed not have I had to wait to long. The "Fat J" is the only sandwich I've ever had there and frankly it's the only one I ever will. But I do know that every person I bring there tries something different and they always love it. And just to clarify they have sandwiches, chips and a drink cooler. That's it. And that's all they need. Fat kid out.

Such a nice place with good sandwiches and friendly staff, I'm glad I was walking by and decided to stay there for late lunch

The Roast Beef sandwich with beast sauce is to die for. It is massive when you order a mega. Although they don't put a lot of sauce in the sandwich and when you ask for extra they give you small increments. Otherwise I would give them a full 5/5.

The sandwich was delicious only the portion was smart and it was little price other than that outstanding roast beef sandwich

Incredibly soft and juicy beef served by friendly staff. Not a place to stay for long time but I definitely recommend this to those who are looking for a high quality fast food.

This place gets busy quick during the lunch rush and it's a small spot so it can be crowded. The sandwiches are great though. Awesome spot

I really like sandwiches. This is hands-down a Top 3 sandwich shop in Boston. Very low key, you'd probably walk right past it if you weren't looking for a delicious sandwich, you can also smell how delicious it is as you walk past. Menu is super simple but done oh so well, the fact that you can't have all 4 veggies at first bothered me but now I think it's genius because you always try new combinations. Personally I like mine to go so all the juices kinda soak into the buns but whatever floats your boat. The guy that owns the place is also great, sometimes he will show you your sandwich before he wraps it up just to make sure you're as excited as he is about the delicious creation he's just made for you. The whole experience is just what everyone needs when looking for a sandwich

I frequented this place a lot while living in Boston. I was lucky enough to live a 5 minute walk down the road so i got to know the guys really well. I am counting down the days to be back in Boston and visit the shop again.

I must have driven by Roast Beast at least 2000 times and finally decided to stop an grab a sandwich. I ordered "The Boston Terrier" and I was not disappointed. It was one of the better roast beef sandwiches I have had. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had.

As GWAR would sing "Meat Sandwich"!!!! Roast Beast is a little hole in the wall take out place that specializes in roast beef sandwiches. They offer other meats as well, but don't be that person and just order the roast beef. The menu is simple - you can either create your own sandwich with a choice of bread, toppings, and their special sauces. They also have a handful of signature sandwiches with combinations that may sound crazy, but somehow work.

This place is local legend, and well earned. Small counter top for eating in, but still a great experience.
