Rondos is awesome and the people who work there are so fun. Every time we go the food is great and we laugh at least once from the crazy things the staff says. More places like Rondos would make the world a better place.
Grew up in this place. Feels like home. Tastes like home. My whole family has eaten here for generations. Not too many restaurants that still feel like old school southie. Be prepared for a crazy line/crowd around lunch and understand that standing by the register makes you look like you are trying to order in person and understand will probably attended to last as everyone around here knows you call in your order about a half hour ahead of time. Literally the best and still are. Also the last of the classic Southie ran businesses left. Out of all the choices I recommend the tuna. I would bet it’s a number one if given the Pepsi challenge. Let alone gotta get a Log Father breakfast sub. Over easy eggs with all the meats on a massive sub roll.
