I usually frequent this place all year long for icecream but more so in the summer time. They have the best flavors especially the Kahlua oreo cookie(limited). The prices seem to go up 25cents almost every year maybe even twice a year though. That cup size remains the same too.

This is in my opinion MY best place to order ice cream. The HYDE PARK location to be precise. I come here all the time. Yesterday was different. The little ice cream server boys had been taking orders. About two of them kept talking to young ladies that came to order after us not paying attention to my sisters and I. As I said before I come here all the time so I know the servers faces. The young boy with the brown turban or scarf on his head caught an attitude with me and was extremely rude…muttering under his breath like a damn child because he failed to cover our cups of ice cream. He said he THOUGHT we were eating in. Like he even asked which he never did. He was chatting throughout with younger customers …he didn’t care. And when he caught that attitude he carelessly took out the spoons making a whole mess, covered the cups and just gave it back to us. We all were too stunned and disgusted. I laughed about it but I was pissed. I wanted a whole new cup that he hadn’t touched but I didn’t want to make a scene so we left. Honestly, I’m still a bit mad because I didn’t deserve that reaction. Every time I come the my cup is always covered. But last night was a disaster. And the same server doesn’t serve the ice cream properly. He fills in cups and half’s cups. He doesn’t maintain the same servings for the different sizes. How is he allowed to fill up up some and not fill up others. His customer service skills are hitting the dirt ground. And if he sees this review: “Son, you need to learn manners and etiquette. Not everyone is collected. Be rude to the wrong person and it might be something else. Pay close attention at your job”.

Ron' s is still my favorite ice cream parlor. Their oreo ice cream is the best I ever tasted. The Brookie Dough flavor tastes like something a grandma from a fairy tale would make.

Heard good things about Ron's and it didn't disappoint! The brookie dough is EXACTLY my type of ice cream, absolutely amazing. Also the employee was super nice & patient while I decided among the many options. Great spot all around!
I have been a big fan of Ron’s ice cream dating back to when I lived in MA in the 1990’s. When I moved back at the end of 2020, I was excited to be able to return to Ron’s! Unfortunately COVID (and perhaps too much ice cream) led to a significant weight gain, and I decided in August to focus on losing weight to improve my overall health — and stayed away from ice cream. Between April and August I lost over 50lbs, and I brought Ron’s ice cream back into my life, and it’s as good as ever. My favorite flavor is Brookie Dough, and I recently “created” a Cherry Vanilla/Chocolate Chip milkshake (extra thick, of course), and I may or may not have gotten one from both Hyde Park AND Dedham last Friday evening/night!! I recommended adding a Cherry Vanilla Chocolate Chip flavor!

Truly is Gourmet Ice Cream. Delicious. Tasty and uniquely adorned cones. Bowling is pure fun here. I was given a professional explanation of how to use the score keeping keyboard as well as bowling rules. The staff were so kind and helpful and customer service oriented. It’s a great sign when customers are greeted and welcome into a business.

Ron’s is a magical blast from the past! We showed up on a Tuesday midday and were the only ones in the alley. We were greeted by friendly staff, given a few bowling tips by Mr. Ron himself and had A TON of fun candlepin bowling. The ice cream also lives up to the hype (voted as #3 ice cream in the world by Nat Geo at one point in time!). To put it simply, I’m a 32yo female and I’d want MY birthday party at Ron’s!

I picked my mom up from bowling and we got a couple of ice creams before leaving. My mom got a waffle cone with coffee ice cream and chocolate jimmies. I got a waffle cone with Irish coffee ice cream with chocolate jimmies.
We both enjoyed our treats and always look forward to our next visit ^^

Always nice to visit Ron's for ice cream and bowling.
Ron’s is hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. They are consistent with their product. They are always friendly. You can even order online and pick up in the freezer section. Their soft serve is the best too! They have soft service in the summer months. I would give Ron’s 20 stars if I could!!

The Frappe I had was fantastic! The young ladies working were very friendly. However, the older gentleman didn't seem to have much people skills tho? Just looked at me like I was crazy when I said hello. Anyways, nice atmosphere and something different as far as concept of having an ice cream parlor and a candle pin bowling alley.
