Hosted a private event in their private room. The space was great, perfect for up to 40ish people. Staff was great, food was great. Reasonably priced.

It was disappointing , because I flew to Boston from Idaho and was excited to eat a lobster roll. Their lobster roll was very chewy and tough, it was sad. The bread was good, the coleslaw was very good but the lobster was very hard to even chew.

Exceptional in every way. We dined here by chance initial and ate at the bar which we like to do to take in the ambience and atmosphere and this place has that in abundance, so much so we actually decided to eat their 2 nights on the run, largely because of the truly amazing experience provided by Miguel and the stunning food. I work in the luxury hospitality space and this was easily one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Bravo Row 34 team, especially Miguel, you’re a true Star!

Amazing oysters. Clam chowder had a lot of bacon, which was nice but decadent. Cod was amazing — braised savoy cabbage, bacon , onions, potatoes — the best I’ve ever had.
Swordfish was a little runny but also good.

The disappointment was the calamari— small squid rings and tentacles were overpowered by a lot of, albeit tasty, breading.

We had the best seafood meal today! Our server was so great too. Seafood so fresh! Highlight are crab cake, tuna tartare, lobster roll, and not to be taken lightly: the clam chowder. I even got a cookbook!

We visited Row 34 while staying at Hotel Commonwealth, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere had a fun yet relaxed energy, and it’s clearly a popular spot for both locals and visitors.

I ordered the cold lobster roll and it was absolutely phenomenal… loaded with fresh, sweet lobster and perfectly balanced with the mayo based sauce it’s tossed in. It is on the steep side (listed as “market price,” which was about $55 when we visited), but worth every bite. It also came with coleslaw, and as someone from the South who loves slaw and is very picky about it, I have to say this one was 5 stars all on its own. My partner went with oysters and the tuna tartare, both of which were also incredible. Everything tasted fresh and beautifully prepared.

We also tried several cocktails throughout the night. Most of them were fantastic and paired perfectly with the seafood, though the dirty martini was the one miss for us.

Overall, Row 34 is a must if you’re in Boston and love seafood. The food, the vibe, and the service all hit the mark, and it’s definitely a place we’d go back to!

Phenomenal food and atmosphere. Came here a couple times over the weekend because it was so great. Good vibes and service. The lobster roll is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. Highly recommend!!

Mediocre food, mediocre service, way overpriced for what it is. Amazed at the other reviews. Buyer beware. There's plenty of good food in Boston.

Wonderful oyster selection, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. This particular space has struggled in kenmore, but I’m super excited for a top-notch seafood joint in the neighborhood. My only concern is that it may get a bit noisy with the Red Sox crowd, but the seating area was pretty conversational.

What a terrific meal! We had eight different kinds of New England oysters, all excellent and *perfectly* shucked (no shell, every oyster fully separated from the shell, every shell filled with delicious brine). The biscuit with rosemary-honey butter was absolutely transcendent: crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, and the butter really made it a perfect dish. Tremendous cocktails. Impeccable service (friendly, knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing).

Pretty good: shoestring fries, smoked salmon. So-so: shrimp pimiento cheese, whitefish salad.

The restaurant has been redesigned since the Island Creek Oyster Bar days. Big plus: acoustic panels on ceiling and walls, so even though the restaurant was moderately crowded, it was not loud at all. Big minus: seating is very uncomfortable (hard metal chairs), unless you are fortunate enough to score a padded booth/bench.

Five stars, no question. The newest Row 34 is absolutely crushing it. The vibe is so fun, and the seafood is ridiculously fresh. Every single dish, from the oysters to the legendary buttered lobster roll, was a total knockout. The staff was super friendly and really knew their stuff, making the whole night feel special without being stuffy. This place is a definite must-go for anyone who loves great seafood!
