This is one of those places where the food is better than need needs to be since it has a lovely view. Service was a little rocky since it was the first night of patio service and we were eating indoors. The food is really impressive.

The food was below mediocre and although there were plenty of tables available for potential patrons we were rushed as if the waiter was running late for his train. The weather was warm, and I really would have liked to enjoy my meal outdoors, but oh well. Never going back there again.

The food is thoughtfully presented and competently executed, with fairly ordinary conception. One exceptional high point was the Chai Cheesecake, which was probably the most enjoyable dessert I've had in several years and had some diverse and lovely balanced flavors and textures. The mains ("Giannino" chicken and seafood tower) were a bit ho-hum and over-salted, so we likely wouldn't have those again. One side dish, the roasted organic carrots, was actually my favorite part of the whole meal. Lastly, the bartender does a great job with mixed drinks, and bourbon-lovers will be delighted with the top shelf options.

Met a friend for lunch. Arrived to be seated promptly. Waitstaff was attentive and accommodating The Sea Grille is a great place to enjoy a lunch.

I had a group from Germany that I was entertaining for business. The waiter was incompetent. We ordered a bottle of wine. Time passed and we asked for the wine to be brought immediately. He brought the wine list. I asked for recommendation for seafood on the menu after we ordered the wine. He said "red or white?" A young gay person, he evidently felt we were picking on him. My European colleagues had begun laughing at the table. . Evidently he did not feel "safe" and we suddenly got a new waiter who knew nothing about our order. Great food. But if you keep hiring on criteria that don't value competence, you are going to have upscale diners go somewhere else

Great food and service as well. Staying at the hotel and went to dinner with my 6 year old son and his friend. They're more than accommodating and the kids loved their food!

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at the Rowe's Wharf Sea Grill. From the shrimp cocktail to tuna crudo startes to the Chicken Giannino and Wagyu beef burgers, the food was exceptional. The overall setting, decor, and environment was complemented by exceptional service from the management team of Mary and Jeff right through to the server. There was a level of attentiveness that was superb without being smothering. We WILL come back and recommend anyone in the area get there soon.

Very disappointed, I met Chef David Daniel and was very angry. I thought he was very unprofessional and a bit racist. I was not comfortable with him around me he was very rude!

First time visiting old Boston. New England Clam Chowder is expected to be top-notch, correct?
Well, what my wife and I got for this dish tasted nothing like clam chowder at all. It was just a potato in a heavy cream chowder! There were two little steamed clams in their shells on top of the dish (for decor I guess) that were not even dirtied up by the white chowder substance. Tells me that they were streamed separately. Thank goodness the price for this "potato chowder" was not overly high - $15.
Honestly, I'm very disappointed!
Tomorrow is our second day and we are going to try the famous New England Chowder some other place.
Btw, Ahi Tuna Poke was good (not best) at this restaurant.

We did the tea menu and it was alright. Tea and food were average. I had high quality tea before and this wasn’t it. For the price point, I was disappointed the tea was subpar.

I wish i have just ordered regular food from their menu instead since that it was other reviews focused on.

Few of us ordered the mocktail mojitos and it was awful. Straight up lemon juice?

Service was good and the set up was beautiful. You pay for the experience I guess.

Food was good, overpriced. Service was great, but being part of a hotel felt stuffy.
