This is one of those places where the food is better than need needs to be since it has a lovely view. Service was a little rocky since it was the first night of patio service and we were eating indoors. The food is really impressive.
The food was below mediocre and although there were plenty of tables available for potential patrons we were rushed as if the waiter was running late for his train. The weather was warm, and I really would have liked to enjoy my meal outdoors, but oh well. Never going back there again.
The food is thoughtfully presented and competently executed, with fairly ordinary conception. One exceptional high point was the Chai Cheesecake, which was probably the most enjoyable dessert I've had in several years and had some diverse and lovely balanced flavors and textures.
