We visited before a show at the Opera House and had a wonderful experience. Although we had a reservation, I asked to sit somewhere less formal, and the hostess immediately offered us a perfect high-top table in the bar area. The atmosphere was lively, but relaxed-conversations buzzing, TVs muted, and drinks shaking. Our wine, filets, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach were hot, delicious, and perfectly timed for our evening plans. Ruth's Chris never disappoints, and this Boston location made for a perfect mother–daughter night out.

We had a great dining experience . We walked to the restaurant after seeing the Hamilton production at the Boston Opera House . ( 7 minute walk which was so convenient ) We ordered the three course meal that also included dessert for $55.00. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced for all that it offered . The restaurant is located in the old city hall building which was very cool. Highly recommend

Their french onion soup was so good we ordered a second one. This well balanced flavorful broth was not salty like other restaurants'. The wedge salad was excellent -we added caesar salad later but I didn't like it as much because the dressing was less anchovyish than the more authentic caesar salads should be. Regarding the two new york strip steaks with bone - mine was chewy and stringy and overly salty. I did return it and got filet mignon instead, and it was much better, but still the salt level was too high. Next time we'll ask for no salt on our stakes - we want to control the salt level ourselves. The doneness was perfect though and it was served on the 500 degree sizzling plate. - great presentation. The manager and our waitress were extremely nice and friendly - the kind of people you want to see in hospitality business. It was our 27th anniversary, and they made it special with excellent dessert treats chocolate due, and decoration on the table. Thank you!

We were only in Boston for 1 night and decided to eat here, as we had a $100 gift card to use. We had only dined at Ruth's Chris once before, and the (Long Island, NY) manager had sent me the gift card after a truly disgusting meal. I've carried it around for 2 years, not wanting to go back. We are SO GLAD we decided to go to the one in Boston. It is a completely different caliber than the Garden City location. The staff, food, and atmosphere were great, and our server Paola was amazing. Looking very forward to our next visit at the Boston location!

It's almost amazing that after 50 years of dining at various locations Ruth's Chris maintains its excellent quality of service and quality. We experienced a terrific host greeting, wonderful server, back waiter, excellent dining room assistance, bar, and management. Food and drink quality are unmatched.

Diego was a great server. The Ribeye was delicious and perfect temperature. The butternut squash was also very good. Had the tuna appetizer which was good.

We ended up eating at the bar since we got to restaurant early and there were no seats available. The bartender was great - didn't catch her name though. She was super efficient and just as great as regular wait staff at dinner table.

From service, to food, to drinks....everything was amazing. Tomahawk was absolutely fantastic and the ahi tuna app was great. Waitress was perfect, just attentive enough without being overbearing and very knowledgeable about the menu, etc. highly recommend!
