I used to like this place. They used to make their sandwiches fresh….. not anymore. Paid $14 for a tiny pre-made wrap. Didn’t taste good and as a student it was far too expensive for the size and quality. A horrible misuse of a Harvard space and drastically worse food and pricing then every other Harvard student go-to in the square. Needs to be replaced. Clearly the new ownership has dropped the ball completely. Might as well turn it into an ugly empty kiosk.
edit: This review was meant for the Harvard Square location in Smith Campus center -- although same business. I can imagine this location (being more full-fledged) would be much better.
True hidden gem. Sandwiches were awesome!

Pretty much always get the same thing -basic breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese. Decent price for a simple sandwich in the south end

I get the impression this place should stick with the donuts. My sandwich/wrap was advertised as containing grilled broccoli and cauliflower, but it definitely seemed to me to just have been steamed and unseasoned. Extremely bland, took a few bites and threw it away. The fries were good though.
It took forever to get my order, and although I ordered a Fried Chicken sandwich I somehow ended up with a Buffalo Cauliflower one. They don’t have dine-in so you can only discover the mistake once you’re already home. This is the second time in a row that I’ve ordered from here and they’ve messed it up; there won’t be a third.
The sandwiches were really good and unique, but the donuts were so mid, not impressed. I’ve had some great donuts and this ain’t it.

Overpriced and under-delivers. Greasy hash browns and abundant cheap bread overwhelms what in theory could be a good breakfast sandwich.
Stop by today at 1pm to get a sandwich for dinner while at work tonight for my 3pm to 9 pm shift. I ordered The Gobbler it contains roasted turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, garlic aioli, gravy on a sub roll. The turkey was fresh tasted good, the stuffing was good moist and seasoned, garlic wasn’t over powering, gravy was missing??????? The sub roll was good tasted fresh. I would have giving a 5 star for this review but Sally’s Sandwich FORGOT to add the gravy on my sandwich! The kitchen staff dropped the ball on this one! Maybe management will contact me after reading this? The sandwich was delicious.

I can’t believe this wonderul place has no reviews! They have amazingly delicious and creative sandwiches made to order. It’s a take out place (don’t think there is seating) but the sandwiches are so great that we go there regularly. It’s in the same space as BlackBird Doughnuts so you can get amazing desserts too! Even the vegetarian sandwiches are to die for. Some of the very best in the city (definitely competing for the top sandwich spot along with Flour Bakery). Go check out Sally’s (and Blackbird). This is a woman owned business and once that deserves your support. ???
Lovely breakfast/lunch place inside Blackbird donuts (or is it the other way around?! ?).Food is really fresh and tasty, and you can compliment it with a coffee and/or donut right there.Their breakfast tacos are excellent and approved of from a TexMex standard (a rarity in Boston!).

Small sandwich counter with big commitment to quality. You can see them prepping and cooking the ingredients for your sandwich in the little kitchen behind the counter. Fresh and delicious! I had a California club and the turkey was real, the bacon crispy, and the cole slaw tasty. My new go-to for sandwiches in Harvard Square.
