Hi! I wanted to share my experience at Saloniki. I went to try their yogurt ice cream and it was really delicious. They also have Dubai chocolate cookies. If you love Dubai chocolate and yogurt ice cream, you definitely need to try it!

Great lunch here! Overall the quality of the food was excellent, but everything just needed to be hotter. Got a grilled chicken pita sandwich, fries, and spanakopita all for about $27 post-tip which didn’t feel too crazy expensive. Pita was good quality and the spanakopita was super cheesy. I would definitely come back here again! See more of my reviews at @alexissokson on IG or AlexEats500 on YouTube!

Hadn’t had Saloniki in years and wanted to try it again but unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. The chicken souvlaki was pretty dry and for the price of the plate it wasn’t much meat. The pork shoulder was also a little dry. It got the job done but nothing to write home about.

Wow really nice vibe for a casual take out spot!
Their frozen greek yogurt dubai chocolate flavor is also super good! Def will come back for lunch/dinner.
My family would def like it here without breaking the bank.
Really clean. Great ingredients. Nice service
I can charge my phone. Great seats by the window to look at Newbury on Sunday when the street is closed from cars.

Nice place with super tasty food. Not too expensive but not cheap either. I would highly recommend the grilled chicken wrap. Their peach lemonade was tasty but very tart (not necessarily a bad thing but something to keep in mind)

I came in right before closing, but was welcomed inside without feeling rushed. My meal was OUTSTANDING, a pork pita with fries (the side of feta sauce was awesome!). If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular!

Uber eats order
We discovered hair in the food order and believe that the restaurant is therefore unhygienic. The lamb meatball pita had a long string of hair in one of the meatballs that was not visible because it was mixed into the meatball and I had to pull it out of my mouth. When we called the restaurant to inform about it, they said call uber to get refund with no apology. Due to concern with the restaurant’s hygiene we lost our appetite. We will not eat from here ever again not only because of the hair in the food, but because of how the situation was handled by the restaurant after we informed them.
Had a great experience here! Sebastian gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Definitely highly recommend!

This greek restaurant is absolutely delicious! My partner and I shared a chicken pita—though it’s definitely a generous portion that one person could easily finish on their own.
The only downside is that when it gets busy, it really fills up quickly. Seating is limited, and there isn’t much space to sit and enjoy your meal, which was a bit disappointing since it would’ve been nice to dine in.
The staff was doing their best to manage the rush, especially on such a busy day in the city. That said, having someone dedicated to the register while another handles to-go and dine-in orders might help things run more smoothly. Service was on the slower side, and it was a bit frustrating having to eat while standing—but the chicken pita made up for it. It was flavorful and really well-prepared.
I’d definitely recommend trying any of their pitas—they’re worth it!

I ordered their chicken souvlaki’s plate, with a Greek peach lemonade, both were delicious. The portion was good considering the price. The plate came with one skewer but I will add another next time if I visit on an empty stomach. We ended up ordering a froyo with Dubai chocolate topping later, which I highly recommend. We enjoyed sitting by the windows on the corner and watching people crossing the live and beautiful Newbury district. Overall a delightful experience.
Always liked the food here but the service was fantastic as well! The cashier in particular (unfortunately didn’t get his name) took my order last minute which was very nice of him. Order came out quick but I had forgotten to get the pita that comes with it, so the cashier chased me across the street and handed it to me after I had left! Really appreciate his effort :)
Delicious, authentic Greek food but a bit overpriced.
