Love Sal's. We get from there 1 or 2 times a week. They know how I love my Caesar Salad with Steak Tips. I don't need to even say what I want when they hear it's me they know what I want. No matter what you get from Sal's you won't be disappointed. Food, people and the place are all great. If you new to Southie, Sal's is a must see and must eat. You wont be disappointed.

Food is ok, Service is very bad. I ordered food at the register and gave my name to be called when ready. Waited at the counter for half hour without anyone calling out my name. Finally after half hour, i was told oh it was sitting there the whole time and they didn't notice.

While the Susan G Komen 3day Breast cancer walkers were in town they were treated to pizza and water ice. What an amazing thing to do by a business. I truly hope the love shown here comes back 10 fold. God bless all your workers

Went to Sals last week and ordered an original rice ball. The rice ball was delicious! The size was very generous and the sauce on the side was great! The staff inside are always generous, welcoming and very accommodating! Highly recommend if anyone is looking for authentic Italian food in Boston!

I just returned to Boston after living in Italy for a year, and Sal's is the only place that brings me back to Italy. The food, service, and feel of Sal's contribute to this. I've been going since I was little, and the staff has become family. It's a great little place to taste a bit of Italy in Southie!

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. I ordered delivery on Uber eats. I got the chicken parm dinner and the pasta carbonara. The chicken parm was a 2/10 at best. It was quite literally, chicken fingers with red sauce and cheese. The pasta carbonara actually looked so inedible i didn’t even try it. It looks like they threw in scrambled eggs, and slices of deli ham. I will not order from here again. Not sure why it had such great reviews on Uber Eats and on here. I should have checked that the most recent review has the same complaint about the carbonara so that’s where I went wrong.
