Very good atmosphere with excellent pub/ bar food.

Their Truly seltzer on tap is the best seltzer I have ever tasted. Very refreshing. The upstairs area fills up super fast and they closed a bit early for my liking.

Decent bar and excellent beer but please sort out the water flow in the sinks in your lavatories. A mere trickle to wash and rinse your hands is not acceptable. To clarify this is in the ladies...

Cool place to hang out and drink beer! ID is checked right at the door starting evening time. We sat at the bar, ground floor, but there’s another bar downstairs and a rooftop area upstairs. I like the ambiance here and they have an open window area so it’s half indoor/half outdoor vibe. They have a little gift shop as well!

Lots of beer options—and they let you taste sample. The House Hazy IPA was okay but I liked the Haymarket IPA more. My husband enjoyed both the Key Lime and Acai Boysenberry Sour.

We were delighted to come across this bar while on holiday in Boston - but then shocked to see it close as early as 9pm, not just on a quiet Monday but on a Thursday when the city centre was packed. As well as lots of customers already on the premises being asked to leave, many more were turned away as hundreds passed by on the way from a firework display on the Harbor. What a waste of a great venue, with good prices and friendly staff.

My wife and I drove up to Boston from NY and I couldn’t wait to try this place as I am a HUGE Sam Adams fan. We seen on the website that after 7:30pm only 21 and over is permitted and we have a 4 month old. My wife called for 40 mins straight to see if that included an infant in a stroller as it’s not a state wide law and is a Brewery decision. No one answered. So we drove 30 mins from our hotel to get there around 8pm only to get denied access. We didn’t think it was an issue as the other breweries didn’t have restrictions and he was asleep in a stroller. They told us at the front door it was a law which I knew already it’s not.

A wonderful, lively venue with a great selection of fresh beers. All of the servers and staff are friendly, and there are plenty of scheduled events throughout the week. Untappd users will be pleased to see that there is an Untappd screen on the lower level of the bar also. Would really reccomended this taproom as a place for an initial pint before heading on to some of the cities great bars and pubs. The rood terrace has some great views out over Faneuil Hall!

Extremely unfriendly.
Before our eyes, a family
who was in the middle of
the food was asked by
the managing director to
leave the table
immediately because the
area on the terrace is
now cordoned off. We
too were asked to clear
our place. Neither us
nor the family with the
food was offered
another place. We
waited for friends and
actually wanted to eat
something, but we left
this restaurant
immediately. The family
found a table inside
where they partially had
to eat. Can not
recommend this placè.

Beer ok but worst pizza I ever had. It’s burnt and horribly salty.

Wouldn’t let me in as a 20 year old because I didn’t have a parent/guardian with me to do trivia. I’m 20?? I am my own guardian??

My visit to the Samuel Adams Tap Room was an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. The staff was rude, dismissive, and seemed annoyed that I was even there, barely bothering to acknowledge me. The beer selection was pathetic—most taps were either broken, empty, or tasted stale—and the few options available were overpriced and underwhelming. The horrible smell of mold and stale beer permeated the cramped, dingy space, which was so loud and chaotic I couldn't enjoy a moment of my visit. It felt more like a poorly run, dirty warehouse than a reputable brewery, and I left feeling angry and completely disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this dump altogether.

Also staff will kick you out for no reason, even after you order a drink
