Arrived late for our tour due to traffic. The staff was very helpful and understanding. They let us piggyback on another tour that had just begun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to enjoy several samples and got to keep our mini beer glasses. There is a bar just outside where you can full servings of a wide variety of Sam Adams.
Great place. They have video game consoles like nintendo 64, table games and the environment is amazing!
Had a wonderful tour of the brewery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We were lucky and had a tour time that no one else had booked, so it was like a private tour for my family of 5. Thank you Alex and crew for the wonderful experience!
The original Sam Adams Brewery Tour in Boston. Our guide was great and shared a lot of very interesting and informative history of the beer. If you like beer, the best way to enjoy it is fresh from the brewery. They also often have seasonal flavors that you can't find elsewhere. It was a great time.
Awesome tour! Would highly recommend! Great beer!
This wasn’t a brewery experience.
I bought a six pack of Sam Adams summer ale bottles. I really like the taste. I was returning the bottles in the carton and I noticed one bottle was unopened so I put that bottle in my shopping cart and went on to do my regular shopping. Went to check out and put the full bottle on the conveyor, thinking I was going to let the cashier know I didn’t wanna be accused of shoplifting.
Well, I got home unpacking my groceries and pulled out the bottle from one of the bags. I looked at it and thought to myself. Oh no, you didn’t checked my receipt and yes, I bought the same bottle of beer twice in two different towns and two different stores how in the hell does that happen? I should have put the bottle in the Return slot and at least gotten $.10.
Great brewery and tour
We did a brewery tour as a family and I highly recommend it. Our tour guide was phenomenal; she was very knowledgeable about the process and very entertaining. I would highly recommend doing a brewery tour on a trip to Boston.
Very interesting tour with several beers to sample. Great experience for a beer enthusiast
Hard to classify, but it’s one of the best lagers I’ve ever had. Quiet and nice place for a good talk and beer tasting, wonderful.

Great tours and brewery, food was good as well , enjoyed chips and salsa with cheese and the pretzels and cheese with a beer while I waited on tour, tour was awesome, great quality beer, winterfest is a great seasonal option, hope to be back , thank you!
Great tour of the brewery, with a very well informed guide. Highly recommend making a reservation for the tour. We had tastings of three unique beers. I would definitely recommend going if you are a native Bostonian or a visitor.
We started our visit with the front desk person Dylan, whom we absolutely adored for his enthusiasm and convincing tone to enjoy the tour with all the extras. We were greeted by our tour guide that made us laugh with jokes and he had an enormous knowledge of the brewery and contents within. We were WOWED with his talent of Opera singing we BEGGED to hear!! The tasting was excellent with perfect explanations of flavors that truly helped us enjoy beer in a new light. We finished the day with delicious pork and Buffalo chicken sliders and a trip to the gift shop where we learned another worker also had opera talent!! What a beautiful day!! Absolutely 5 very gold stars ?
Adored the tour, learning beer making & tasting was fun and our tour guide (Leslie) was charismatic & interesting.
The beer tasting was nice and the gift store had many awesome gifts like their Goblet, Ceramic Mugs, Pint Glasses, and more. Half of the store had reasonably priced merch, but the other half was over the top (30+ for t-shirt, 12+ for deck of cards, etc).
The bartenders were friendly, the draft beer delicious, and vibe was clean! A recommended trip for any local or traveler.
Joel was a great tour guide. He made the experience not just educational but entertaining as well. Highly recommended.
