It is 2025, but the place still operates under manual line definition, where you have to stand here for one hour straight. Time to introduce booking system or online line may be?

This place is a chaotic dumpster fire masquerading as a ramen shop. The floor looks like it’s been marinated in old broth since 1998, the noise level is pure anime fight scene, the staff treat you like you personally offended their ancestors, and the ramen tastes like hot dishwater with depression. 1 star, and that’s generous.

I got the shio ramen and it was great. Super rich broth, equally balanced. The server did forget our egg a couple of times but i don't blame him, it's super busy+crowded.
Most of the times there's a line outside and you will sit next to other people 85% of the time. (esp when it's a small party) The reason for this is the store is super small. That wasn't really a problem with me, the tables i get seated with are super kind and respectful!
It can feel a bit overwhelming or claustrophobic inside, there is only one bathroom for all and everyone WILL see you walk in.

This is a super popular place to get ramen in back bay and you should expect queues on weekends. It's a small restaurant, but the food is great and service is extremely quick.

I love the Cambridge location but when I went to the Back Bay location the toruniku was chewy and not very good. Everything else was the same excellence you come to expect though
Quick service, delicious food. Very small place. Had a line out the door and I was inside and seated in about 20 minutes. Worth it!

Best budget ramen around IMO. Big time ramen bar vibes, they want you in and out, and the student deals make it affordable. Less than 20 for a good portion of high quality ramen shouldn’t be something to write home about but it is

Really decent ramen from a large ramen chain originating from Hokkaido. It taste nothing like that in Hokkaido. Nevertheless, better than the average ramen you get in the states. Quick service, decent broth. Good pork slices.

Ate here twice before submitting this review, overall this place is incredibly consistent and great! Great selection very fast service, friendly & it is family style so if your solo you’ll be sat next to another patron
The noodles have an excellent texture to them and each of the various styles/broth options are well executed & tasty. I do think that the combo is the best value overall. They also have a ton of options for students.

Waiter is outrageously slow not seating anyone for 20 minutes when 3 tables are empty. She was not tending other tables either. Recommend hiring better waiters

Long wait at this trendy spot to arrive at the indifferent service of the staff. Only one veg option without enough items in it to be filling. The staff are rigid about changes, addi tions Etc. I would have liked a spicy miso option.

It was okay, I had a lot of corn, lol. Nothing was spicy although it was advertised as spicy. But it was still good nonetheless.
