Ordered truffle fries with our cocktails…never arrived..waiter said he was bringing them as appetizers . We cancelled the order. Our table had waiters stacking and scraping dishes behind us throughout our first course. There were many empty tables seating 4 so finally we asked to be moved. Our friends order asparagus as a side dish and asparagus soup was served. Clearly, the staff is untrained. There are so many great restaurants in Boston, this one is not!

Service was great. The food? Err…fine. The menu is completely all over the place - is it Italian? New American? Why is there naan?!! The burrata dishes were almost entirely flavorless (like eating a mild, environmentally safe dish soap). The pasta was home made and quite nice, but the sauces were a bit bland. Maybe I was looking for too much Italian authenticity, but this is Boston and it didn’t seem too much to ask for the price.Tiramisu was great though!

The food is good and the place is very nice . It's good for big groups. They are accommodating and service is really good. Here's my review on the food. We got the duck and it was good. The Boston haddock with lobster fried rice was a nice dish well balanced my one complaint was that the fish was unseasoned, at least the fried rice was delicious. Cesar salad is delicious and the nan bread too.

First time here last night 3/10. The server was wonderful, the food was great. Drinks were great. My only issue is i specifically went here because of their menu online. My favorite plate of al time is the chicken marsala. Thats what i really wanted. So my table of 5 order drinks, we order an appetizer. Then i start looking over the menu and my favorite Italian plate isn’t there. I was so sad. I even wanted to leave but no one else wanted to. They should really update their menu if they don’t offer what they have posted. That is my only complaint. I probably wont be going back to be honest. Their menu is very small. Not enough options.

Scampo in Boston hits the mark with its lobster pizza and lobster fried rice—absolutely top tier. The Paper Plane cocktail? Solid. Yet, the haddock lacked seasoning, and was very bland. The staff was exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness elevated the experience. As for the ambiance? Spot on—inviting and stylish. While the haddock missed the mark, the lobster dishes and overall vibe make Scampo a must-visit.

Food is terrific. I had the duck -cooked two ways and delicious both ways- and my girlfriend had the salmon: perfect. A bit pricey but worth it. And in the sexy Liberty hotel that has a fun jail themed bar on the same level and also a bar in the beautiful lobby.

We had a reservation at the counter. We weren't very excited about the choice - we felt removed from the dining rooms and bar. Our server was disinterested but the service was adequate. Our chilled wellfleet oysters were very tasty and fresh. Another starter of foie gras was a big disappointment - It was very rare to the point of being raw, I didn't like that. A dish of butternut squash ravioli was good, not great. My partner's spaghetti vongole would have been very tasty had it not been so overwhelmingly spicy. Overall our visit was an expensive disappointment.
