Scollay Square is a solid choice for pretty much any kind of outing. Meeting friends? There's plenty of space, really good food (try the incredible miso salmon with the wasabi mashed potatoes, or get the mouth-watering buffalo flatbread to share), and the super-cool waitstaff won't rush you and your friends out -- even if you are there as part of a bachelorette party (for some reason? Greatly enjoyed my meal. Had the buffalo chicken flatbread (pictured). A bit spicier than I anticipated but certainly not a flaw of the dish. Had the pink tasseler drink, was sort of underwhelmed. The menu talked it up a lot but I wasn't overly wowed. The s'mores sticks dessert was phenomenal. Comes with four marshmallows that can be dipped in peanut butter, chocolate, and graham cracker crumbs. Service was good. Would definitely recommend coming here.

I'm always somewhat concerned about this place because it never seems particularly busy. We've been several times on a Saturday Night, in decent weather, and it's always sorta just empty. As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is definitely worn. That being said, I do really like the food and cocktails. The blackened Scallops are delightful.
