Scoozi

We ate here last night. We sat outside as it was a lovely evening. The tables and chairs to the outside area don't really seem like they belong with the restaurant- they aren't set up with any table things like salt/pepper or a candle/lights. It was fine. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. My meal came out quite a bit later than my family's but it wasn't too awkward. I had the risotto and it was absolutely delicious. I'm on the fence about this place, the lobster BLT is amazing but the margarita pizza was super disappointing. Hardly any cheese at all and there was way too much red sauce, it felt like I was eating bread covered in pasta sauce. The service at the bar was poor for the time of day I went, I got mostly ignored by the bartender when I first walked in and they didn't bring out condiments when I asked until I had to ask a second time. Scoozi defines the eastern edge of the Boston University Charles River campus on the south side of Commonwealth Avenue. What I like about Scoozi is the variety in their menu and their efficient service. You may not come to BU to eat at Scooze, but if you've come to BU, Scoozi is a reliable choice for lunch or dinner or anything in between.
