Overall good. We came to try a specific item which has consistently been on the menu on their website. We have been checking for over 1 month! When we got to the restaraunt the item (lobster ravioli in vodka sauce) was not on the menu and our server said it hadn't been available for some time! It is still listed on the website today! Cafe Amaro is a true North End gem. While the space is small, it only adds to the quaint, cozy charm of the restaurant. The food was terrific—thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal and made the experience feel special. We visited this resterant in the North End last night before the Andrea Bocelli concert, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is small and intimate—maybe 20 seats at most—but beautifully decorated and incredibly inviting.
