I made a reservation at cafe amaro for Saturday at 6pm for my birthday dinner. Food was good and the server was nice. After being there for an hour and 10 minutes, a waiter approached us and asked us to leave because there were other people waiting for tables. We had not finished our drinks and there were other tables there longer than us. I would understand if they gave us a table time limit but we were not. I found this incredibly rude as I was trying to have a relaxing birthday...
1st night we had an amazing experience with margherita pizza and pistachio martinis with a great server named Brian! 10/10! HOWEVER - we went back the next night without a reservation because the martinis were so good. They do accept walk ins! There were four empty tables and we were seated. We had already ate so we wanted to order the $19 martinis. My friend ordered one and then about 15 minutes later I ordered one. Shortly after I received my drink my friend wanted to order...
Our server was sweet and attentive without being overbearing, I was nervous when I realized the restaurant was so small but it turned out to be a cozy, beautiful, and DELICIOUS meal. Our new favorite when visiting Boston!
