We ordered two pizzas and a Serafina Burger (without bacon). The pizzas were very good, but the burger experience was less smooth than usual. It first arrived with bacon despite the order note, and after the bacon was removed, the bottom bun was burnt. The replacement came back with a cold bun, and after the manager's approval, we finally received a freshly prepared burger, which was very good. The team handled the situation professionally and kindly did not charge us for the burger, which we appreciated. We dine at Serafina frequently when visiting the U.S., and while this visit was below the usual standard, we value their consistent hospitality and will gladly return.

Incorrect items, poorly made food, and dirty tables that resulted in a meal not worth the cost. The only good thing was the service.

I came In for a casual dinner and enjoyed sitting at the bar. Our entrees came out fresh and the wait staff were very kind and attentive to us. Loved it

Went here for brunch. Tiramisu French toast was great, but the Sicilian shakshuka left something to be desired. Too liquidy from the the tomatoes, not enough salt. Bread is fantastic with amazing olive oil. Also got the lobster ravioli a separate time and that was pretty good.

So we sat outside and the bees were awful. Serafina could invest in citronella candles or something cost effective. We had an AWFUL dining experience and wanted to be outside on a 80 degree day. Shame on Serafina for not wanting their guests--especially given how many are allergic to bee stings! Our waitress was excellent and the food was mediocre. Do better!

Unfortunately, the service level at Serafina was pretty disappointing. From the wait time for our reserved table to the brusque demeanor of our server, we felt underwhelmed by the entire dinner. Having been to Serafina many times, this experience was hopefully not the new standard.

I've eaten there several times and this meal was not to the same standards as I've had in the past. The food was bland and not very hot. The service was meh. Not very attentive.

We were seated promptly. Not a full bar. Only had speciality whiskey. Ordered a glass of wine which was great. My shrimp meal was just so so. Not a lot of flavor and the pasta, bowtie was a little on the crunchy side. They also removed the bread from the table when the meal came which I felt odd, not done by our server. Our server was excellent making the meal more enjoyable.

Serafina Back Bay has a sophisticated menu and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. I found myself engaged in pleasant conversation and warm ambience among other students and Bostonians over a glass of chilled Chardonnay and a creamy, decadent Penne Alla Vodka. The staff was very attentive and affable, and ensured I had a warm experience as they welcomed me to the Boston area. The restaurant offers délicieux Italian cuisine and wine with an emphasis on quality, with handmade pasta and bread. It lives up to its name as Boston's little slice of paradiso! ✨👼✨

The food was tasty, but it did take quite a while for it to come out. However, everything is worth the price and we'd certainly return again.

Food was excellent (farfalle limoncello) and our server was delightful - so nice and attentive. We sat outside and it was lovely.

Overall the food was very good. The truffle arancini were delicious and crispy. The pasta dishes were spot on (we tried the carbonara and the tagliolini al tartufo- both were perfectly al dente). The truffle fries I think were maybe a little undercooked- they were quite oily and a little soggy. The aioli that came with them was fantastic. The bread was meh- really not worth eating and taking up space for better food (which is a little disappointing- I love a good breadbasket). The service was great and the food came out very quickly. The ambiance was okay- it's just an odd setup inside the Newbury St location. The outdoor space seems like it might be nicer (but it was so humid we went with indoors).

We are here celebrating our anniversary. Had reservations. While the restaurant was pretty empty we were seated in the back right next to the restroom. They then seated another couple right next to us…a bit strange. Many tables available.

We were with friends…we had to ask two times to turn the music down so that we didn’t have to yell across the table.

A couple suggestions. Keep the music lower so that people can relax and enjoy conversation. Consider lowering the lights a bit to create a more intimate atmosphere.

The food was tasty and good portions. Service was not amazing. Just nothing special. No recognition of our special evening.

Just an okay evening.

Appetizers came with the main food. Pasta was dry and uncooked. They are taking al'dante to a whole new level.
