Our favorite pizza at Serafina's, called pepperoncini, was disappointing. There was no chili oil so it didn't have its usual kick. Not sure if they forgot to add it? Service was a little disappointing too. We had to ask our waiter to refill our water. Also, the waiter asked if he can clean our plates while I was still eating. The other three people at the people already finished eating so I didn't protest. However, I would have liked to finish my meal so it was quite annoying that the waiter asked to start clearing the table.

I love this restaurant! The brunch menu is amazing. The staff are attentive and swift and always super helpful. They are young and unpretentious and grounded. It's always got an amazing vibe. The food is divine. And the bar tender is a legend. The Shakshuka alone is worth the trip. And the Al Pacino is scrumptious.

Went here on Mother’s Day with a friend. We were kind of in a rush and asked the host if it was possible to dine and be out within an hour, even though the place looked pretty busy. They were super accommodating! We sat at the bar, ordered right away, and everything came out quickly. The food was pretty good, and the overall atmosphere was great

Pleasantly surprised from my visit this past weekend at Serafina Back Bay. We walked in without a reservation and were told that we’d have to vacate our table in 45 minutes to accommodate for reservations. While it was a little less time than I expected, I appreciated the fact that they were upfront and didn’t rush us after.
Their cocktails were delicious and so was the pasta. This might just be me but I’ve not seen Farfalle pasta offered as much as I’d have liked but Serafina did. The pasta was scrumptious and they were accommodating of dietary restrictions. Pricing was on par with what you’d expect around Back Bay but not too egregious. We didn’t have time for dessert but maybe next time I will. Overall, a great spot for a late afternoon meal.

The food and atmosphere were both excellent, and we truly appreciated the overall quality of the restaurant. However, we were disappointed by the service we received. Unlike the other tables around us, we were not offered bread and olive oil, nor were we asked if we needed anything else throughout the meal.
What stood out was that the server consistently provided these to other tables without being asked and checked in with them multiple times, while we were overlooked despite placing our order in three separate interactions. It gave the impression that we were intentionally skipped, as it would have been difficult for the server to miss us completely.
While I hesitate to raise this point, the only apparent difference between our table and others was our skin color. I sincerely hope this was not the reason, but the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and excluded.

This WAS our go to place. I think they must not be doing well. They swapped out the name brand Aperol for a cheap version. This is usually the sign of a troubled restaurant. Swapping name brands for cheap brands. Oh well.
