Overall the food was very good. The truffle arancini were delicious and crispy. The pasta dishes were spot on (we tried the carbonara and the tagliolini al tartufo- both were perfectly al dente). The truffle fries I think were maybe a little undercooked- they were quite oily and a little soggy. The aioli that came with them was fantastic. The bread was meh- really not worth eating and taking up space for better food (which is a little disappointing- I love a good breadbasket). The service was great and the food came out very quickly. The ambiance was okay- it's just an odd setup inside the Newbury St location. The outdoor space seems like it might be nicer (but it was so humid we went with indoors).

We are here celebrating our anniversary. Had reservations. While the restaurant was pretty empty we were seated in the back right next to the restroom. They then seated another couple right next to us…a bit strange. Many tables available.

We were with friends…we had to ask two times to turn the music down so that we didn’t have to yell across the table.

A couple suggestions. Keep the music lower so that people can relax and enjoy conversation. Consider lowering the lights a bit to create a more intimate atmosphere.

The food was tasty and good portions. Service was not amazing. Just nothing special. No recognition of our special evening.

Just an okay evening.

Appetizers came with the main food. Pasta was dry and uncooked. They are taking al'dante to a whole new level.

2nd time in Boston and our 2nd time dining there! Would loved to have eaten outside, as the weather was perfect, but how Simone to know. Mussels in white wine cream sauce were again amazing. My husband ordered the same thing he had last time it was so good, the farfalle Al limoncello! I had the ravioli Al tartufo Nero and that was also delicious! Service once again was great!

Had a great brunch at Serafina Back Bay! We were seated right away with our reservation, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, and our server Antonio was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent, service lacking even just the basics. No balsamic vinegar to accompany the olive oil - when asked we were eventually brought balsamic glaze - but long after the wine order was taken and served - then the waiter eventually sorted it out after dripping wine down my glass and table - and he did not clean it up. We asked the manager for a finger bowl - waited with shrimp tail covered hands until the sent our server who said they don't provide such things!! It's just a bowl of warm water dude! Starter plates weren't cleared then one entree plate whisked away too soon...............

VIP margarita pizza was incredible. The marinara sauce is second to none. Antonio was a great waiter. Overall great experience.

My friend and I had an excellent dinner outside on Newbury Street. The staff were very attentive to our needs and provided suggestions for a beer that was out of stock. The food was incredible; so fresh and flavorful. The staff was also understanding and helpful when it came to receipts for my friend who had a business expense for his meal.

Service was a little slow to greet us and take drink orders. We chose to sit inside to avoid the noise on the street but it was a bit noisy inside too and a bit hard to hear my dining partner. We ordered bruschetta for appetizer which was really good, very light and fresh. I ordered spaghetti and mussels which was delicious except for the one mussel I bit into that had a hard rock/shell in it (I guess that's the risk you take with mussels). My partner ordered chicken parm and said it was very good. We ordered tiramisu to go, which was disappointing as it tasted a bit savory (possibly from the take out container or someone used a savory knife to cut it) so we had to toss it. The blueberries were a little squishy too. Considering it was Newbury St. in Boston, the cost was very reasonable. The pizza at others' tables nearby looked excellent. Not sure if I would go back but would definitely consider ordering pizza for take out.
