Almost everything about Servia was fantastic—the food and drinks were delicious, and the overall ambiance was great. However, the service hours were confusing, and the staff’s attire felt too casual for the restaurant’s upscale environment. Our server was kind throughout the meal, but the experience soured when he added gratuity to our party of three without informing us, seemingly in an attempt to receive an additional tip. This left all three of us disappointed and diminished what was otherwise an excellent dining experience. Not sure if I’d recommend.

I’ll start by saying that perhaps we made a mistake when we walked in. First we entered in the dining room and no one was there so we stood at the host stand for around 15 minutes. The food was fine I don’t think the pricing matched the quality. We had the spanakopita which could have used another minute in the oven. The calamari was missing salt and seemed to be frozen but I could be wrong. We had the truffle gnocchi which was definitely our best dish although if you’re not a fan of very salty dishes it might not be for you. The mojito was by far the best thing we had the whole night.

My wife and I had an amazing time eating here. The Mediterranean platter had sides we couldn't identify which impressed us 😆. Our wine flight was awesome, our cocktails were awesome. Jordan made us feel like family.

Be warned - they add gratuity and do not mention that in person when they deliver the check or clearly on the menu (only says “gratuity will be added in certain circumstances”). We were a table of 3.
We were about to leave when one of us took another look at the receipt and saw the gratuity charge. We would have left a 46% tip!! We added a 25% tip onto a bill total that included the added grat charge.
The service had been great, but this really spoiled it. I’ve eaten here a couple times, and now wonder how many nights I’ve paid a 46% tip. We left feeling like they tried to scam us. Very disappointing end to the evening.
We don’t have photos to share, just our experience. As a large party, we were impressed by the well-crafted, balanced, and expansive menu—there was truly something for everyone. The food was superb, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and uniquely presented in both flavor and appearance. The chef’s skill, precision, and care were evident in every bite. From appetizers to desserts, we were thoroughly delighted.
Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience didn’t match the excellence of the kitchen. While our server, "J," was caring and knowledgeable, the lack of a wine list meant we had to rely on his memory, which proved unreliable. The server assistants were inattentive and seemed disengaged. Fortunately, these are easy fixes, and the outstanding food more than made up for it.
We’ll gladly return—because the chef is just that good!

Everything was wonderful, immediately felt welcomed in by the staff.
We got three appetizers and they were all amazing, and the entrees were just as good.
Our server, Jordan, was stellar and did an amazing job and was incredibly delightful.
Will happily return when I’m in the area!

Absolutely fantastic! Jordan was our server and he was so amazing. He recommended the vegetable tajin. So flavorful and full of vegetables. The space is beautifully decorated and clean. Highly recommend!

Great 1st experience! We chose it because we spent a few weeks in Greece this summer and wanted a reminder. The food was very, very good. The server was super helpful and very nice/funny. The whipped feta and olives were a great starter and the linguine and clams were tasty! Overall a great Mediterranean meal!

CHECK YOUR CHECK!!
We loved the food, but things took a turn when we asked for the check. We were surprised to find a 20% gratuity fee automatically added. When we asked the server, she explained that it's added when you spend over $98. However, when we spoke to the manager, we got a completely different story—he said the fee applies to tables with more than four people, calling it a "party size" charge and claiming it's common sense.
I'm sorry, but that didn’t sound like common sense to me. In my opinion, a party size starts at six people. He then went on to say the 20% was to "protect the servers." As someone who also works in the food industry, I don't believe it's the customers' responsibility to make up for the gap between servers' wages and the minimum legal requirements. That responsibility falls on the restaurant owner, not the diners.
SHAME ON YOU—pay your employees fairly!

I wish I had taken some photos but I was focused on the amazing food. Beautiful modern ambiance and a nice view of State Street, Servia is the best Mediterranean food I've had in years. Their roasted lamb shank served in a clay pot was one of the most delicious dishes I've had in a long time. Highly, highly recommend for anyone en route to the airport or visiting the ports or financial district of Boston.

This place has promise, but it's unfulfilled. The decor is lacking and the cavernous setting brings to mind a food hall rather than fine dining. My guest and I hoped to sit at the bar, but it's apart from the dining room and was dead...there was no soul or energy. The food and drinks were good. The menu is definitely Greek forward rather than balanced southern European/Mediterranean.
Delicious apps (hummus, octopus, brussel sprouts) and meals (sea bass, roasted chicken) . Nice modern takes and complex versions of classics. Great servers. Atmosphere is clean and simple, not as great as the food but certainly in time.
