Delicious hotpot lunch, attentive staff.

Where do I begin? This was an underwhelming and overpriced hotpot meal. My coworkers and I made a reservation for ten people. One of my coworkers stopped by earlier in the day to make sure we could all sit together and there didn't seem to be an issue. We arrived on time, into a completely empty restaurant, and asked if we could sit in the bar area. Our server was apprehensive to have us seated at the bar, so we got two separate tables. One table had six individuals and the other table had four. We were all a little disappointed. We ordered the miso, chicken, and Sichuan broths. As well as a platter of vegetables, a side of broccoli, three sides of udon, lamb, chicken, beef shoulder, wontons, fish balls, and a spicy tuna roll, I was personally disappointed by the small portions and hefty price tag for the udon noodles (very small portion), vegetables, and meats. It was not worth it, you're better off going to hotpot in Chinatown or Happy Lamb. My group of coworkers were the only customers in the restaurant while we were eating and my server completely forgot to bring me water. Also, when I asked what type of cheese was in the fish ball, the server didn't attempt to find out. He just said I don't know. (Don't get the fish balls! They were not good.) a lack luster experience to say the least. Sigh.

Thank you for the kind service, delicious food, not the place to go if you don't want to pay too much and eat like there is no tomorrow, but definitely if you want quality and well prepared food.

Despite there being many open tables, we were put at the counter and the server refused to put us at a table even when I asked when booking. The food was expensive and the hotpot was far from the seats and impractical. We could not control the heat and it would often overflow from boiling. The service was absolutely terrible. We had to wait 15min to get the servers attention even when we just wanted to pay the bill. We often had to get up and get them from the other side of the restaurant just to get their attention. They also placed us next to the meat grinder and spent the whole meal grinding meat which was a sharp and irritating sound that made conversation impossible. The food was ok though.

My first Hotpot experience. Was great all around, and the staff extremely friendly, attentuve and helpful. you get all the food raw or frozen and you cook it in the boiling brother pot set in the table. various flavors of broths, and condiments are provided to choose. we chose the Sichuan spices. as it boils, it get more spicy... I had the prime rub and vegetable platter, wontons, and seaweed salad. was a wonderful meal. pictures below.

The food was bland even with the sauces they provided. The techno music was blaring and despite a lot of wait staff, the service was lacking. I was one of 4 customers and had to track down the staff for everything. Not going back sadly.

The food was just OK. It's located inside of a hotel. The ambiance is ok, nothing special. Service was good. You really have to add a lot of seasonings for her to have any flavor. Not sure that I will go back again. Chicken was almost unrecognizable.

Hot pot restaurant. Varied menu with good selection. Ordered the chicken hotpot with noodles and veggies. Chicken looked very unusual, not like anything I’d seen. Tasted just ok. Husband ordered veggie platter and loved it. Son ordered pork and loved his. Good service.

We were new to Boston and Japanese hotpot cuisine. We had a v good experience. The wait staff was helpful, attentive and kind. Great ambiance. Loved the sushi. Hope to return anytime we are in Boston.

Our server was very friendly, kind and helpful. My daughter has nuts and sesame allergies and our server and chef checked all the ingredients thoroughly and even made some modifications to the ingredients so that my daughter could enjoy the dishes! Thank you!

It was our first time doing hot pot. Wasn't a very good experience. It was very expensive, and didn't taste very good. We had no clue what we were doing and the waitress was reaching over us putting things in the pot.

Very delicious hot pot. Enjoyed the fact that you could have your own pot of broth and didn't have to split with someone else. Meat and vegetables were delicious and perfectly portioned.

The food was pretty good, but the service was quite poor. Our server never once came to our table without us actually waving for her. It was over 15 minutes after we sat down before she even came over, and then we had to ask for water. We made a reservation for 5 people and when we got there they wanted to seat us in a row at the bar because "someone else just took the big table". We ended up squeezing around a 4-person table and had to share hot pots. You can find vastly better service and better food for this price at many other nearby places. I would not go back here.

Took my mom to one of your fav restaurants for her birthday and the food did not disappoint. However, the service was the worst I have ever experienced. The server we had could not have been more rude and even when given opportunities to make up for his rudeness he proceeded to being arrogant, condescending and dismissive. Extremely disappointed.
