Tucked away between other small businesses and apartments sits the quaint and humble hole in the wall freshly made pan-fried buns spot my friends raved about. And it certainly lived up the hype. I was enamored by the ladies preparing the buns visible thru the storefront window, and the utter vibes of the fresh construction just down the road and clear skies made for a refreshing meal in the breezy but warm weather outside. The noodles are a generous portion and full of intense spice (if spicy) and flavorful options, especially when accompanied by 4 golf-ball sized handmade friend buns.

Yummy dumplings! Great flavor and I loved the crispy bottom. The whole row of restaurants has lots of outdoor seating so it’s a great spot to visit

Classic Taste, less on the oil which is to my liking as SH food can be oily.
It’s kiosk order and pick up yourself. Limited seating, and be careful of the wind blowing in on windy days from the door.
The Cold Wontons could use more peanut; there’s a lot of noodles, so you should consider some toppings to finish it off, changing the bowl of soup too.

Every time I come into the city I always make time for the dumplings. They are simply the best you can get around here. They come fast and delicious. In my haste to drink the soup within and eat the delicious meat after I took an unflattering picture of such a masterpiece.

The food is excellent, but it would be even better if dine-in orders weren’t served in plastic containers. The trash bin was also quite full during my visit. Reducing single-use plastics and keeping the space tidier would make the experience more enjoyable and environmentally friendly.
