Love this food. Reasonable. Nice portions. Fresh vegetables, never frozen!! They always had live music when I went.

All of the food was good, and it wasn't too expensive either.I got the Shenanigans chicken pasta from their daily specials menu. The sauce, pasta, vegetables, and everything was perfect, but the chicken was overcooked. Unfortunately, this wasn't just me, another person in my party ordered the same dish and their chicken was overcooked as well.Overall, still a good place, with a particularly amazing atmosphere. Warm lighting, the loud chatter of a bar, and while we were there, a live artist actually played, and it was really enjoyable.

We came in for a bachelor party around 11AM. Spent all day and night there at the bar, ate lunch and dinner. We spent $700+ between the 7 of us and that was just the one tab. We supported a police officers daughter and donated to her little children's parade that came in. Once it got crowded they had a line to get in but the bouncer was letting us back in because we are all smokers. Then some little bearded child that worked there decided he didn't want to let us back in for no reason. He claimed we were never there and started a screaming match outside with us. Then we proceeded to the next bar and he told them not to let us in. Then yelled and called one of us a C*nt. Maybe he was trying to show he was a tough guy but he definitely had little man syndrome and was very unprofessional. The bartenders were great and personable and the tall Irish bouncer around 1pm was great. But whoever staffed that little man child needs to reconsider someone else.

It was really good food within walking distance of the convention center. They had good drinks too.

My nachos were stale………however the burger wad delicious. Staff was ok. Great food and environment though, the chips were just beyond stale..

The waitress, Mary H., helped herself to an extra tip, on top of a good tip I already gave, by charging my card more. I have my receipt and statement that do not match. Super classy. I missed the 60 day window to report it. Even if I did like the food (mediocre), I will not be going back.

Shenannigans is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and an excellent value. We had the pizza and a teriyaki chicken salad and I would highly recommend both. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They also have ample seating - both indoor and outdoor.

Good place to stop in, watch a game, and have a beer. Tuna wontons was great but was more of a dip, and that wasn’t expected. Salmon could use some seasoning but overall was fine.

Waitress/Bartender was excellent. Mature staff know how to please customers. My wife and I had chicken pot pie and lamb gyro, both excellent. We are both picky and were not disappointed. We were nervous Kansans going to Boston for 1st time but most everyone we met were very nice.

Went to Shenannigan's last week based upon Trip Advisor, it was a great pick. Sat at the bar. Outstanding pint of Guinness and a lovely bartender (Ciara). Had a super short rib dinner with a mountain of mashed potatoes and a mound of vegetables. VERY large portions and reasonable prices. Will return next time in Southie.

Really cool bar. Great atmosphere, very nice bartenders, cold beer, and good food. The dry rub wings are some of the best I’ve found in Boston. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
