The Silhouette has always been a staple of mine and I've found a really solid pool community through the establishment. The food and environment has always been exceptional. However, the old bartender with the Mr Music t-shirt is absolutely atrocious and should be a case study of what not to do in the service industry.
I ordered a beer at the bar, and was asked if I wanted to keep the tab open, to which I responded no because I don't plan on having another drink for myself. I tipped him 2 dollars on an 8 dollar drink, which I think is fair, and more than 20%. However, I had friends visiting who arrived later and I wanted to buy them beers, and the old bartender with the Mr Music tshirt made a HUGE deal about me ordering more after closing my tab, and I was told to "get out of here" after swiping my card. I find this to be extremely unprofessional and an absolute disgrace to the Allston community and I think that his attitude should be reassessed for continued employment. On top of that, it gives a bad name to Mr Music, to which I'm a frequent customer of and have never experienced such bad customer service.

Bouncer is embarrassing the establishment. Does not know how to verify IDs. Turned away my whole group despite multiple forms of valid identification. Also this was literally a Wednesday. Take your money elsewhere
