Do NOT use the ATM there. The machine says it will charge $3 to make a withdrawal, turns out it charges $5.50 according to my bank statement. Otherwise it's a nice, divey spot that gives a generous amount of popcorn with your drink for free. It's got a room in the back that hosts DIY shows - nothing fancy, but in a charming way. Parking sucks, but that's Brighton for you.
The Silhouette Lounge is easily my new favorite bar. It is full of eclectic weirdos, the bathrooms are cramped and carved to hell and back with every imaginable toilet thought, the bartenders are take no shit types, and they have darts and pool to keep you busy while you enjoy their cheaply priced but well made drinks.
Goated. Best dive bar in the boston area by far. They sometimes require passports but can't complain when you are near BU campus.
Best when you get there early and can secure a dart board or booth and just rip pitchers all night.
