Great sophisticated date night establishment. Though the atmosphere is a little stuffy. Get dressed & glammed for this restaurant. I love a restaurant with a high end, classy vibe!!! The wait staff was on point & friendly. My only gripe is that though the quality of food served here is great, the variety of selections is lacking. Consistently good food. Every time I dine at the bar, Danny and Luis have my beverage ready and know my entree of choice down to the last detail. At the front, Melissa is a stellar hostess. A hidden gem.

Delicious food, interesting atmosphere, impeccable service in a historic building, what more could you ask for? Dinner at Smith and Wollensky in the castle has been on my bucket list for a long time. Although I do not believe any dinner for two is worth $300.00, I haven't been in this historic building since it was the UMass library in the seventies and had to visit before the restaurant left this location.
