Everything was perfect as service and food - noising people made the experience less enjoyable

Excellent lively atmosphere. Our server was top notch in terms of attentiveness and friendliness. Sides could have been a little warmer (gratin potatoes) but otherwise very good, and would go back.

Food and service was fantastic! Perfect for a special occasion or date night. The coffee rub on their steaks is amazing.

I had my go to Cajun Prime Rib, and something was different. It was actually spicy. Like it was the bottom of the rub with just cayenne pepper. Waste of a good cut of aged meat. Almost like eating Nashville Hot Steak. My girlfriend liked her fillet au pouive, but they ruined the Brussel sprouts, and the cream spinach was good. Way too expensive to have made such mistakes. This was the second time I've had a bad time at this location. So that's on me.

Had a great experience dining at smith and wollensky on congress street in Boston. We were celebrating a birthday and we loved our steaks and sides. The Tiramisu was incredible to cap it off!

Great dining experience. On the pricy side but feels like an authentic Boston steakhouse. Food and cocktails are first class. Highly recommend

Service felt rushed. Table was too small for 4 people (two seats jutted out into the foot traffic). All 4 of our medium rare filets were slightly overcooked but edible. They were out of the 12 oz filet, so we had to order 8 oz, which looked closer to 6oz. None of the sides stood out (Truffle Mac, those button mushrooms that are terrible compared to almost every other mushroom, whipped potatoes, etc.). Server never brought out the sauce I ordered with my steak. Obviously it's an expensive dinner, so you hope it's going to be better. But ultimately it was a classic chain steakhouse experience that is neither great nor awful.

Went for a bday celebration. Sad to hear from our waiter that they were out of several types of steaks on a Saturday night. Including the classic fillet 12 oz. Being a party of 4- one of the steaks was ordered medium rare came back very rare at this time, several sides already placed on plate The steak was sent back to kitchen and returned with no sides returned? Mgr came over and gave us another side. Very professional and as expected the caliber of S/W. Being at other locations across country this to me was an embarrassment. Felt very off here with the quality of sides and ambiance. The place is very open and extremely loud. Being a steak restaurant I expect steak to be cooked to perfection the first time. Fritto misto was tasty yet a bit salty for my taste. The Mac and cheese was very overdone. Truffle oil not truffles in it. They got 3/4 steak correct. The tomahawk was very small for the price. The sides are small but boy oh boy are desserts HUGE! They also validated our parking but not for the entire time finding out as leaving the parking structure. For $600 bill I would expect a full validation of parking. Overall, glad we went but other options for restaurants that would be better.

Great place & food . We lucked out having Henry as our server , he truly made our night special , gave us great recommendations and the night wouldn't have been as great without him. Thank you Henry!!!

We had one of our best dinners here. The manager made a special point to stop at our table to make sure our table was comfortable. The waiter was on point and the ambience was great. Our wagyu steak and lobster special was delicious. We would dine here again.

Smith & Wollensky Boston never disappoints. We shared the porterhouse steak — perfectly cooked and full of flavor — along with creamed spinach, fried onions, and mac and cheese that were all spot on. Finished with a rich, crackly crème brûlée that tied everything together. The food, service, and classic atmosphere make it one of those places we just keep coming back to.
